The old type layout had every type coloured so it was easier to identify the Pokemon's type. I mean the bar beneath the Pokemon in the gallery pokedex
I started disliking the big blocks under each pokemon, that's why I changed it. Personally I like the new style. They are still colour-coordinated so it shouldn't be too hard to identify.
