Like a link on a question/chat and click on it and it opens a new tab like when you click on a link in the yellow box when you ask a question.

Agreed. In the meantime right click, open link in new tab is pretty easy.
1 Up! =D
I hate to disagree, but I am.
If you browse the site a lot, you'll get a lot of tabs open. That could get rather annoying, and the browser could get pretty slow as well.
I think you misunderstood. Otherwise I misunderstood. I think Ziggy meant when people post links in chat or when you view a link in a q or comment e.g http://pokemondb.net/pokebase/meta/41067/when-you-click-on-a-link-it-should-open-a-new-tab
Gets annoying pressing back all the time.
I think this is fit for external links such as links to Serebii, Bulbapedia, etc.
I believe this was asked before, and Pokemaster pointed out that some people's security settings prevent new tabs from being opening by links.
Right click, open link in new tab like Blob said. It's already that easy, so I don't see this being added.
It depends on what you are doing in the site. If you are looking for sprites or whatever, then a new tab would be okay, but not if you are clicking on reference links to other websites.

Personally I dislike this. It's annoying for a site to force links to open in new tabs as you end up with loads of tabs.

If you want to open a link in a new tab you should decide that for yourself. If you want a quicker way, try middle-clicking on links to open them new tabs.
