I just made a tournament suggestion only for someone to point out that it already took place, so I hide it. It is annoying being able to see my hidden post - I wish I could just remove it.

Being able to see your hidden post is actually quite helpful, but it does get annoying after a while. I still have a ban report from January I can still see, but apparently hidden posts get deleted automatically over time so there will probably be nothing done about this.
and if a user posts an idiodic question purposely they could then delete it without anyone having proof, unless screenshot

Suggested and rejected before here.

>I realize your inentions here, but why? There is no benefit really to deleting something as opposed to hiding it, and if someone posts something that they shouldn't, then deletes it, how would we know that they ever posted it? Duplicate accounts have even been found because the person commented from the wrong account, and then hid it. If that person had deleted their post then we wouldn't have caught them. It's a good idea, but it isn't really practical.

Answer is fine as far as I can tell.
Thanks, I've only been a memeber since June the 3rd so don't really know about fake account scandals and what-not.
