I have NO idea how to explain this 0.o

.........

If someone made an account on the 17 November 23:55 UK Time.
Would their account be 2 days old in 5 minutes or would it be until 18th November 23:55 ?

Also let's say an American User was going to turn 2 days old on November 17th .
But they did at a time in which UK it was already the 18th .
A UK user looked at their profile would it be 2 days old for the UK user ?
But still 1 day old for the people who live in America ?

I did an awfully poor job of explaining this . So feel free to edit it :/

The time zone is irrelevant. It might be hard to explain exactly why, but I'll try.

2 hours or 1 day or whatever is the same everywhere. Don't think about what time it is where you are, just think in terms of how long since X happened.

So if you register at 17th Nov 23:55 UK time, then on 18th Nov 23:55 UK time your account would be exactly one day old. If the server was using American time (e.g. EST) then the two times you registered would both be 5 hours earlier i.e. 17th Nov 18:55 and 18th Nov 18:55. But that's still one day.

Doesn't go by date. Goes by hours. If someone made an account at 11:55 PM, it would only be 6 minutes old at 12:01 AM. They would have to have a full 24 hours.
