I'm assuming that it displays differently depening on the browser. I noticed that you were using Safari. I normally use Google Chrome, but I just opened up the page in Internet Explorer and it showed this http://i.imgur.com/BpOUDZf.png?1

It's supposed to be an RSS feed, which you can read about here. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RSS
For the record, I'm also getting a page of code when I open the page in Chrome.

It's an RSS feed. Feeds allow you to keep up with news from a variety of sites, if you use a site like Feedly or Digg Reader. It's a bit like subscribing to newsletters from a bunch of sites.
