pokebase best answer bug. (this is my 2nd worst title)

Question

So i came to meta for a reason. because i have 4 points on pokebase. so I went back to pokebase and i asked a question. the next day i see that the question was answered. i read it and chose best answer and i went to see my points and i got -4 points now. IS this a bug?

There is nothing wrong with your points since:
Every new user gets 20 points.
You have received 1 upvote and 6 downvotes for a total of -50 points.
You have gotten 16 points from selecting best answers.

20-50=- 30
-30+16= -14

And you have exactly -14 points, as can be seen on your profile.
