Is Pokemaster even active anymore?

He's still active, just takes a lot to maintain the site around a life and full time day job. Doesn't leave a lot of time for socializing, more just checking the meta section and updating/editing the coding.

I've been thinking about how long the site will last if Pokemaster stops updating it. Most of the basic mechanics work, and the bugs aren't too problematic. If Pokemaster leaves right now, this site will probably die a few weeks after all the moderators and editors leave.

iirc mods can't promote others to editor/mod so if pokemaster vanishes forever then there will not be any new editors/mods

Looks like I forgot about the existence of Meta. 177 Views. Looks like the chances of a mod seeing this is pretty high. But i'm not sure. Ask the more-reliable mods e.g Fizz.

Pokemaster has the [email protected] address, which is shown on the site's contact page. But mods don't have any sort of contact with Pokemaster that isn't already available to everyone.

Yes I'm still around :)

As others already said I'm quite busy with work, don't seem to have much free time recently. I've been spending a lot of time on the Q2A software that powers Pokebase, because it's over 2 years since I did a major new version and I want to get that done. Good news is, by extension, that will also improve Pokebase!

But I'm always keeping an eye on things. As you'll see I added news on Saturday. I also spent some time at the weekend doing this:

I had a report of some apps in the app store basically hijacking our site, removing the site name and covering the app with ads. In other words, trying to profit off my hard work. So I put a nice message up on there. Killed 3 apps with one stone lol! :D
