Error: “Read the Rules” notification

I’ve noticed that since I haven’t reached 80 points on my PokéBase account (any of the sections) that the “Read the Rules” notification that appears for newcomers will stay until I reached 80 points. However, I’ve also seen that the number would divide itself in two, making the notification banner now say that the notification will disappear after obtaining 40 points. This is especially confusing when I have above 40 points on my regular Pokémon Q&A account, however, the banner hasn’t left. I’m sure it was an error because it originally said 80 points, but the fact that I have above 40 points on that profile and the banner hasn’t left makes all the difference.

You need 80 points on Q&A, 40 on Rate My Team, and 40 on Meta to make the banner leave. Points don’t carry over across the different sections, so I think that’s where you’re getting confused. If you have more than 40 points on Pokébase but not on RMT or Meta, then the banner will still be there on all sections.
