I’m going to say no to this one. I don’t like the moderating precedence it sets — it’s not really your fault that other people don’t know where to post their content. The problem isn’t actually with the question: more with the post that is out of place.
I’m more partial toward leaving it for someone else to answer — perhaps in greater detail — or for the person who posted the comment to leave an answer instead.
