Meta-PokéBase Q&A

I remeber when I just joined the site 2 months ago, there was this notice at the top that said something, like, "this notice wont go away until you get 80 points". I found recently that a lot of people, for some reason, are getting annoyed that newcomers are not best answering answers. I think there should be a notice at the top that says, "To Best Answer an answer click the green check mark at the right top corner of the answer. This notice wont go away until you have best answered an answer. "

I can see you're point thirsty. Well, if you don't get a BA, then you probably never will because the asker will never be online again and they're part of the DDos attackers. Or there are two answers and the asker doesn't want one user who answered the question feel sad.
Maybe they just don’t like your answer, and that’s why they haven’t selected it.
No, there’s a lot of users who don’t know how to BA. For example, one time an asker replied something like “Thanks so much for the help” to my answer, but didn’t BA it. I don’t really care that much, but a feature like this could potentially work.
I think someone already suggested having this question ( https://pokemondb.net/pokebase/meta/8497/ ) on the "useful posts" list or the notice. I can't find that question now.
@X-Scizor - That makes this feature seem a lot more useful (for greedy people to get points...).
I’m not greedy for points. I just think new users should be aware of the ability to select answers as best.
I mean I dont really care if they slect or not, but I am kind fo greedy sicne I wanna be expert
I thought the Expert rank changed to be attained when you're trustworthy enough
If you reach 6k points, you can still edit and retag stuff.
I'm not gonna lie, I love and take delight in every point I get (they're mostly irrelevant and useless though). But I want this fulfilled not for points, but because it drives me nuts seeing a resolved question without a BA. Like X-Scizor said even if they like the answer one question then leave users would leave the questions un BAd.

@Octozooka
In my experience, its much faster to get promoted manually than by getting points to expert. Just give it like 4 years...
Bump..
