Bumping this because the replay-saving problem still has not been solved. answered Jul 6 by Fizz

Obviously Fizz and other mods can because they're mods (oBviOuSlY) but are regular users allowed or is it considered unnecessary necroposting?

I've definitely bumped at least a couple questions, now and before I became an Expert. I think it's ok, as long as you don't bump a ton at once.
The mods won't have any problem with this unless you do it constantly. Don't bump 10 questions at once, and don't bump something daily. If a question isn't getting any discussion after it's been bumped, it's probably because nobody has anything to share related to it, so bumping something often won't help you and will only annoy people.

Seems like a perfectly fine answer to me.
You could have just told me to add that as an answer if you thought it was sufficient. :\
However, I didn't add it as an answer myself because I didn't think it was, as I am not a mod and do not know their full opinions on this subject. I'm positive PX or Fizz would have more to add.
I don't necessarily enjoy someone copying someone else's comment/answer and adding nothing else unless it's just a definitive auth statement.

That being said, I feel as if HTs answer more or less sums up at least my opinion. If a question has no answer, and you want an answer to it, then it's fine to bump it up in activity. Just don't be silly, use common sense and don't do too many at once.
I don't even know what bumping is lol
A "bump" is a term used mostly in forums where you post in a thread so that it would become part of the front page list posts again. Not much point in a lot of social media since the algorithms they use don't work that way, but in more traditional forums it sees use, if its allowed.
