Moves not being transferred over cross-gen?

So look, This question has been asked before, yes, however, since it was asked in July and there was no response, I just wanted to bring this to attention. TY made this apparent as I was looking through the minor errors thread. Let me show you their minor error that they found.

I think this is where I post this? Please correct me if I'm wrong.
https://pokemondb.net/move/fell-stinger this page says only the Sobble line can learn Fell Stinger as an egg
move, but in OrAs I just DexNav'd an eggmoved Surskit with Fell Stinger. Surskit isn't anywhere on that page ;0

So can this be done?

On a related note, an option to switch between different generations on the pages for moves would be very useful. If a Pokemon can learn a move in one generation, but not anything, it can get a bit confusing because the site only shows info on moves for the most recent generation, at least, on the move page.

might be to do with surskit is not in sword and shield/gen 8, and that was a gen 8 move thing.... surskit does get fell stinget as an egg move in ORAS, however. hope this isnt confusing! :)

Converted because this isn't a response from PM, which I think is what the asker wants. It does explain why the problem happens, but, again, I think the point of this was not to ask why, but more ask if it can be changed.
