This would've been a cool idea. However, mods have said before that they don't want the Database to look too much like smogon. Most active DB members are also on the Discord server, and Discord shows when a user is online

@ss, not totally. Sometimes people leave their laptops on with discord open when theyre afk, so i see how this can be useful to see who is on the database right that moment. I'm also almost always online here, and rarely discord; i dont think discord is accurate way of telling a mods availability to the site

Also I personally don't like this, because people probably leave a DB tab open, giving the appearance of them being on when they're not. And what if you don't feel like interacting with anyone?

If they don't like interacting with anyone, they should probably add an option to whether allow other users to see or not. Smogon has these thing- it's possible to limit only your followers/or to staff for accessing your profile, or to see last active time.

It's possible to have this features on this site, and I feel this feature a must if we are ever going to have what the question asks.

I'm with X on this, this is redundant and also if we give people an "invisible" option like Discord does, 99% of the people will use it. This isn't bad but I don't think this place should be treated as another social media because that's when toxicity starts happening
