suggestion: a better more organised way of dealing with dupe account accusations.

Question

dupe account accusations are serious and should be handled better then arguing in the chat room. i feel like there should be a better way of dealing with them where the accused user can defend them self better and better methods of finding out if they really use dupe accounts. i dont want it lead to some one who is wrongly accused hopelessly trying to defend themselves as they get battered by the other users and every one should be given all the facts to better handle dealing with dupe accounts.

There's no reason for this if mods can just check if your IP matches with another user's, so your obvious dupes won't last long at all.

..... there's already plenty of ways for users and mods to communicate, and mods never act hastily, regardless of whats being said by average users in the chatroom

It allows you to do exactly what it says -- report users for any reasons anonymously. The chat room is not the only place to do so.

Even if other users in chat are "battering" you, why would you care about them? If you're innocent then you shouldn't worry, as other users that aren't staff can't do anything to you.

If a user is being bullied/accused/harassed of something, you should approach a Staff Member either on Discord or DB with your concerns and we will try to resolve it :). I understand that it may make you feel uncomfortable or unwelcome even if you're innocent. Dupes are very easy to disprove/prove, and the main point is that people should respect each other regardless, and if this is something that has occured in a chatroom, that is a seperate discussion as there are already various channels of communication about duping :). Please do contact us if you've seen/experienced these problems though.

Those dupe creators may use VPN because VPN changes IP. It will be difficult for the mod to ban if they can't guess that account belongs to the original account unless the usernames are identical.

Also VPNs tends to change IP frequently.

Don't worry, we know how VPNs work (and a person's IP can change very readily without a VPN anyway).
