What makes you think they can't see themselves?

I was just scrolling the user's list but couldn't find myself. I wasn't sure whether it was a bug or not so I asked the question

Depending on the section you were looking at, it may have been because you don’t have enough points to be on the page. Since there’s so many users, they only show the top few, and if you only have 20 on a section (like meta), you probably wouldn’t show

Yes. The user list is ranked according to points. So, just keep scrolling until you find yours. Keep in mind that each of the three sections have their own separate points. For example I am on page two on the main section (PokéBase) users list but on the RMT list, I am on page one.

Also worth noting is that there have been so many users over the years that the users page cuts itself off and doesn’t actually show them all; you’ll notice that even the very last page shows users with the default 20 points, even though there have been users with less., If you have over 20 points, you’ll definitely be able to find yourself, though.
