Today I was trying to find a Lance png on Pokemondb for a markup/markdown but was unable so i had to look on bulbapedia instead. Is there a way i can access trainer sprites on pokebase or do i have to search elsewhere? If there is no way to get sprites, would it be possible to add trainer sprites? Thanks!

You can find trainer sprites both on the pages for each type (if that type is their specialty), or the respective game's Gym Leaders and Elite Four page. For instance, you can find Lance's Red/Blue sprite at https://pokemondb.net/red-blue/gymleaders-elitefour or https://pokemondb.net/type/dragon. Though, I would still recommend Bulbapedia, as these pages are missing quite a few trainers.

If you see an image on the main site, it's probably being hosted by the site and therefore can be used easily. Here's Lance:

I got this by going to the Dragon page and right clicking the sprite I wanted to use to open it in a new tab. Then I just used the URL as I would a Pokemon's and added it here! These follow the same naming conventions as the Pokemon sprites. Lance's, for instance, is https://img.pokemondb.net/sprites/trainers/gold-silver/lance.png.
