Error with the "My Updates" section on my account

Question

I often check the my updates section to see if anything I wrote in an answer was corrected in a comment, among other things. Recently, this section has started showing things that I had nothing to do with, specifically things that Feeshy-Freggles did. Literally the whole section is filled with things like "Commented 1 day ago by Feeshy-Freggles" or "Answered 15 hours ago by Feeshy-Freggles". I had nothing to do with any of these posts, and it doesn't say things like "Your comment followed", either. Can somebody tell me what is going on?

Did you add Feeshy-Freggles as one of your favorite users by clicking the star on his profile? Favoriting a user, thread, or tag means any activity related to them will be fed into your updates. You can view all your favorites here.

The ability to favorite users isn't really supposed to act as a friend list. So if you don't want to get updates about everything your friend does, just write a friends list on your profile instead :)

Oh yes I forgot that this happened. I will un-favorite him, I don’t know why he already is. This is weird though because I have a list of potentially answerable questions that is my favorites, and I don’t get updates for those (or maybe they just don’t get any updates because they’re all old)

You probably don’t get updates from them because, they’re old. It would give you an update if someone commented or answered it but there isn’t a very high chance that would happen. They ARE old after all. (Btw I use my favourites to see the activity of all team ribbit :P)
