Have you tried editing it on different sections? There’s been no change to the site recently

I've done some testing and found that:

1. You need at least 102 points to edit the text fields (gender, location, about me) in your profile on the main section. Yes, 102... 100 didn't work.
2. There is no points requirement for editing your profile in the other sections (Meta, RMT). As long as your email is confirmed, it will work.

So go edit your profile via Meta instead and it will work.

This system is stupid. We'll make our feelings known.
