Meta-PokéBase Q&A

I have no idea what to title this.

For some background, I am on Safari in iPhone most of the time I’m online. Additionally, I have an eye disease that’s less than fortunate to be bestowed upon by birth.

These days, I’m finding it harder and harder to read comments, especially longer ones. The other day I tried to read a comment that Hexahedron left on one of my questions, and it took me multiple attempts to read it, and more minutes than it should’ve. I tried to increase the text size on my browser, but it made everything else obnoxiously large. Zooming into the page just sucks, as it doesn’t word wrap. Does anyone have any advice on how to can make the comments, and only the comments, either bigger or easier to read?

If there’s no work around, I’d like to suggest making the comments even one point size bigger, as even that would help a lot.
Or, even better, custom user settings for the site (but we all know that won’t happen).

I want to mention, I also struggle reading the comments on PC, but my large monitor plus easier access to zoom makes it easier at a click of a button. iPhone? Not so much.

Anyways, thanks for reading. I’m not phone or browser savvy so I’d appreciate any advice on anything I may not have considered.

YES. I don’t have a conputer and just use my mums one sometimes. Therefore I’m mostly on my phone when I do pokebase
I don't have much experience with iPhone, but are there accessibility settings in your phone settings (not the browser) that allow you to edit fonts more precisely? Some devices let you set a universal minimum text size that shouldn't affect text that's already large. There may also be an option to read highlighted text out loud although I get that it's not always convenient, especially with Pokémon names that may confuse a TTS program.
The question is will silver be able to read this ^ easily
I like your way of thinking. I checked my phone settings, and I don’t see an option for minimum size. I can adjust the font size, but it makes everything bigger. I’m not seeing an option in Safari, either.
I found out about reader mode on Safari. Unfortunately, comments don’t show up on reader mode? This is something I wonder if PM can look into.
I do have a TTS programs Read&Write on my iPad and my PC. My issues with using it in the site are that I’m only on my phone when I’m out and about, and I can’t use earbuds because I loose them. If I take off my glasses, I’d loose them, so I bet you can imagine it’s rough with earbuds. I use headphones, but it’s not always appropriate to have headphones on, like when at work.
@freshlyfreggles, It took me a minute, lol
