Why are the votes different of different pages?

I've seen this happen before, but historically it always fixed itself within a day or two, so I just wanted to post this while it was still there.

On my answers page I see this:

On the post itself it says this:

Edit: ok it fixed itself. Weird. But I know that it wasn't me just not reloading the page because I swear I saw my answers page first, and it said I had an upvote and I did indeed have 10 more points, but when I clicked the link on the word "answered" it showed the second image.

Sometimes websites are hosted in several physical locations, and requests might take a few minutes to reach all the servers. At least I think that's how the internet works.

If you aren’t signed in, it doesn’t refresh as often. Does this happen when you’re logged out by chance?
