You are correct that I don't do a lot of *visible* mod work. One of my privileges as a moderator is to edit silently, which I use to edit and retag old questions to bring them in line with current rules. You won't find my name attached to any of these edits, but they're there.

Thanks for the concern about Mew! I looked into it myself just now, not seeing that X already commented. I went thorough his posts and didn't see anything concerning. I agree with X in that he probably lost points from me selecting X's updated answers as best.

Yes — by consequence of searching old questions to update, I'm finding (and answering) a lot that Mew already responded to.

Saw your post on Silver's wall. What's actually happening is that when I answer old questions, many of them were already answered by Mew. When my answers are selected as best, his are deselected, which explains the small downturn in his points.
