So, this team isnt your average noob im-gonna-use-what-everyone-else-uses-in-rain type of team. Enjoy, as im very proud of this team :)

Shayminz (Shaymin) @ Life Orb
enter image description here
Trait: Natural Cure
EVs: 232 HP / 252 SAtk / 24 Spd
Modest Nature
- Rest
- Seed Flare
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Earth Power

Alright, im first gonna start off with and give Blob and Mew some credit, as it was them from who i got the idea to use this. Rest is actually a decent strategy which lets you heal up on a prediction, switch out, and come back at full health, or close to it. Seed Flare is just amazing. it honestly trolls the majority of opposing rain teams. Poli has no safe switch in to it, Spinners such as Starmie, Tentacreul, and Donphan certainly don't sppreciate it, and Forretress doesn't have so much bulk to be taking a STAB + LO Seed Flare. Not only that, but it also helps me take out one of my biggest fears: Rotom-W. Not only does it help me absorb its Will-O-Wisp's/T-Wave's, bulky enough to take to take any Rotom-W attack, and just destroys it with Seed Flare. Here's some proof.

252SpAtk Choice Specs Rotom (+SAtk) Hidden Power (Ice) vs 232HP/0SpDef Shaymin(Neutral): 54% - 64% (216 - 256 HP). Guaranteed 2HKO.

HP Ice is my back-up to be able to take on opposing flying types, and thus making me choose it over Air Slash. It let's me hit Thunderus-T very hard, any dragon, and Landorus-T/Gliscor, though the latter is easily taken out by a Seed Flare. after seeing all these threats are usually scarfed or like to set up, Shaymin provides the sufficient power and has just enough bulk to take some Super Effective hits. Finally, Earth Power let's me hit other stuff, such as the mighty steel types in opposing Rain teams and the mighty Heatran, which is pretty common, and Mew has scarred me for life by trolling me with a TormentTran (Thanks Mew). Only being resisted by Levitate Bronzong, the only real counters to this guy are Skarmory, and is usually taken care of easily by other team members. Shaymin <3

Trollrachi (Jirachi) @ Leftovers
enter image description here
Trait: Serene Grace
EVs: 252 HP / 236 SDef / 20 Spd
Careful Nature
- Body Slam
- Iron Head
- Wish
- Stealth Rock

Say hullo to my favorite SDef Jirachi set :). Any special attack, this guy can take (unless it's an Ember in the rain. Too OHKO for me >.>) So it serves as a support set, getting stuff paralyzed with Body Slam. After spreading some paralysis, we can go and troll with Iron Head, and cause some ragequits with this cheap strategy. If that isnt an option, i can always set up Stealth Rock and put some ease for our sweepers and not fear getting outsped. Wish is perfect to help me take Rachi our of the battle and placing a weakened pokemon in, or just help recover some Hazard damage. Nothing much to say about this wishmaker, other than he rocks :D

Polifrogger (Politoed) @ Choice Specs
enter image description here
Trait: Drizzle
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SAtk / 4 SDef
Modest Nature
- Surf
- Hidden Power [Grass]
- Ice Beam
- Focus Blast

Well, this type of Politoed isn't seen to often (by me, at least), so i decided to give him a try. Full out Specs set lets me put a dent in a lot of stuff, especially with Surf. Now, you may see that Hydro Pump is superior, but i usually get PP stalled by crap, and i don't like that, so i went with the reliable, yet still strong choice. It lets me poop on all weather inducers, except for President Snow (Abomasnow... Hunger Games reference der) HP Grass is here, not only for opposing Poli's, Gastrodons, or water types, but it let's me take on the core i see more and more of: JelliSwine. Expecting a STAB water move, Jelli will be surprised to see how much Sexy Specsy Poli can do. Ice Beam is obviously not to take down dragons, as they will probably just laugh off my 3 other attacks. And finally, Focus Blast is to hit things such as Ferrothorn and Heatran, which, again, can really piss me off at times. This guy usually doesn't see to much action, unless it's a weather war, when with some prediction, this guy can dominate.

Lati (Latias) (F) @ Leftovers
enter image description here
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 80 HP / 176 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature
- Substitute
- Roost
- Dragon Pulse
- Thunderbolt

Well, only natural to see a dragon on an OU time, no? Anyways, i got a little tired of using the typical LO + 3 Attacks + Roost combo, and i really wasn't in the mood to use my favorite SubCM set, so i guess i decided to mix them both together. Substitute helps me do two things: Prevent getting statused and help me take out threats while they try to take my Sub down. Roost helps me out recovering some HP after Entry Hazards (in case Rachi's final Wish didn't get there in time) or just to SubRoost stall an opponent. Then, come my coverage moves. Dragon Pulse really hits hard against anything, and Thunderbolt helps me take on steel types, as well as taking down other steel types, barring Ferrothorn, who i can easily outstall if he doesn't carry Gyro Ball. Now, TBolt was chosen over Thunder just because i dont want to risk the chance of missing a Thunder in Sand or Rain, if my Poli has already been taken down.

Salad (Salamence) @ Life Orb

Trait: Moxie
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature
- Outrage
- Earthquake
- Roost
- Aqua Tail

"Wait a minute, 2 dragons in one team? Leboss, this isn't Ubers >.>"
I know, and tbh, it actually works having a Special + Physical dragon core. And this may seem like a weird set at first, but hear me out :) Outrage is obvious, not gonna go over that. Earthquake helps me take care of the one weather inducer Poli hates: Ninetales. Not only does it provide some godly coverage with Outrage, but it does a more-than-decent job at putting a dent in stuff, with the help of LO. Roost may seem weird, but when i can predict a pokemon switching out, i'll gladly heal up any Hazard damage or LO recoil that this guy has taken. Aqua Tail just gives me something to rely on in the rain, and does well at taking stuff such as Landorus-Therian out. This is one type of Salad that isn't healthy for you ;)

Empoleon (Infernape) @ Choice Scarf
enter image description here
Trait: Iron Fist
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature
- Flare Blitz
- Close Combat
- Stone Edge
- U-turn

Well, lets bring in the weather induder killer into the picture, eh? Flare Blitz is actually my first attempt at making this guy an all-out physical sweeper, so i gave it a try. Though i don't use it in the rain, Flare Blitz is perfect for this guy, as he is my usual lead, and i use him to as my most valuable pokemon to take out other weather. The recoil doesn't worry me too much, as a Wish from Rachi can usually reach this guy and heal him up. Close Combat is practically a must on this guy, as in a speed tie vs Terrakion, it's my only hope against it, and not to mention it's weather killing job of Tyranitar :3. Stone Edge helps vs Flying types, most notably Thunderus-T, and lets me hit Ninetales for some pretty nasty damage. Helps vs Dragons too, though i dont rely on it too much, especially with that accuracy. And finally, U-Turn is just a good ol scouting move.

Why not Thunder > Thunderbolt on Latias? You're in Rain :3
Infernape in Rain?...
Why Infernape in the rain you say?
Well, you see, in OU, we have weather, which is probably not so common in NU. So as a weather team, my sorry little butt must be able to take down opposing weather teams, or i lose, and Infernape's job is to do just that. is everything (Pokemon) Crystal Clear? :P

Lol, i kid JCNub xP

And Fizz, i use TBolt > Thunder just because of my trust issues vs opposing weather, which in the past, me missing Thunder has cost me the match >.>
Fair enough. Still, I never really have an issue with Thunder missing. It's Focus Blast that misses for me. :/
IKR FIZZ
You should use blaze instead of iron fist on your infernape. You don't have any moves that are powered by it.
^ yeah your right there. And at low health Blaze could make up for some of the lost power. everything else sems very sound tho, I will enjoy being thrashed by it sometime.
Lol, just tell me when, and i'll try to give you a shot at the team LCB :P
and yes, im using Blaze now... thanks for that xD

Hello LeBoss, attempting to rate this unique team into a great one.

Shaymin

Shayminz (Shaymin) @ Life Orb
Trait: Natural Cure
EVs: 232 HP / 252 SAtk / 24 Spd
Modest Nature
- Rest
- Seed Flare
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Earth Power

No suggestions at all.

Jirachi

Trollrachi (Jirachi) @ Leftovers
Trait: Serene Grace
EVs: 216 HP / 40 Atk / 252 SDef
Careful Nature
- Body Slam
- Iron Head
- Wish
- Stealth Rock

Minor EV adjustment for a bit more power, since the given spread has enough Bulk to pretty much do the same thing (kind of like Speed Creeping, except with Attack and HP).

Politoed

Polifrogger (Politoed) @ Choice Specs
Trait: Drizzle
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SAtk / 4 SDef
Modest Nature
- Surf
- Hidden Power [Grass]
- Ice Beam
- Focus Blast

OR

Politoed (F) @ Leftovers
Trait: Drizzle
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SDef
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Scald
- Icy Wind
- Toxic
- Protect

Great idea using this guy, fits well into the team. You can always run a Bulkier Politoed (Standard Physical Defene) for a better chance to win the weather war. That is what I would do, but Jirachi does well as a Wall.

Rotom-W > Latias

3 Ice type Weaknesses, despite 3 resistances, can leave it open for Mamoswine. Mamoswine scores great coverage against this team with it's Dual Stabs in Earthquake and Ice Shard, which makes a pretty predictable switch. I can see MoxMence being switched into Jirachi, only to be hit by an Earthquake.

Here's what I suggest: Rotom-W > Latias
Rotom remedies your Mamoswine weakness while also providing the same Ground Immunity to the team that Latias does. It also runs one hell of a Sub set, although I dont suggest using it.

Rotom-W @ Lum Berry
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 132 HP / 120 Def / 16 SAtk / 240 SDef
Calm Nature (+SDef, -Atk)
- Hydro Pump
- Thunder
- Will-O-Wisp
- Pain Split

The given Rotom-W set above is pretty straightforward: abuse low HP while still tanking hits. You can always tailor the EVs to your liking.

Infernape

Unique idea using Infernape under Rain. Great minds must think alike, because I also experimented with RainApe. Here's the best set I found for Infernape under the Rain:

Infernape (M) @ Choice Band
Trait: Iron Fist
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SAtk / 252 Spd
Naive Nature (+Spd, -SDef)
- U-turn
- Mach Punch
- Flare Blitz
- Hidden Power [Water]

RainApe is designed to not only to remedy your Sand/Sun weakness, but also abuse Rain if it's still up as well. This set does the same job that Choice Scarf Infernape does, only better, as it is able to 2HKO Terrakion and other Speedy Threats through a powerful CB+Iron Fist+STAB Mach Punch, launch a reliable Flare Blitz despite the Rain due to the CB, and abuse Rainy Weather with HP Water. This guy also provides the team with a much needed priority utility.

Here's how well RainApe works.

252Atk Choice Band Blaze Infernape (Neutral) Flare Blitz in Rain vs 252HP/252Def Leftovers Jirachi (Neutral): 49% - 58% (200 - 236 HP). Guaranteed 3HKO. 17% chance to 2HKO with Leftovers.

Very rare to see a Max Def Jirachi under the rain, much less a +Def one (which I will not even waste time to experiment).

252Atk Choice Band Iron Fist Infernape (Neutral) Flare Blitz in Rain vs 252HP/0Def Leftovers Jirachi (Neutral): 62% - 74% (254 - 300 HP). Guaranteed 2HKO.

Here's the standard Bulky Jirachi. Does the job just fine, even with the Rainy Weather up.

252Atk Choice Band Iron Fist Infernape (Neutral) Flare Blitz in Rain vs 252HP/252Def Leftovers Celebi (+Def): 45% - 53% (182 - 216 HP). Guaranteed 3HKO. 1% chance to 2HKO with Leftovers.

You should be U-turning this ***, but still decent damage considering Rainy Weather is in play. Decisively bait Terrakion (a common Weather Setter Celebi is paired with) and you have yourself a KO.

Here is a comparison between CS Infernape and CB RainApe.

CS Infernape V.S. Terrakion (Speed Tie reliant)

252Atk Iron Fist Infernape (Neutral) Close Combat in Rain vs 4HP/0Def Terrakion (Neutral): 113% - 133% (368 - 434 HP). Guaranteed OHKO.

Gets the job done, but needs to win that Speed Tie. Relying on hax is a sure way to lose and is the difference between winning 100% or 50% of them.

RainApe V.S. Terrakion (Prior damage from Shaymin, who can shrug of a CC with Rest).

252Atk Choice Band Iron Fist Infernape (Neutral) Mach Punch in Rain vs 4HP/0Def Terrakion (Neutral): 67% - 80% (218 - 260 HP). Guaranteed 2HKO.

Does the job just fine, without relying on the Speed Tie ftw.

Again, you can always tailor the EVs to your liking, or run Adamant Nature for more powa'. I suggest running the Adamant Nature, but I suggested Jolly just to let you see it at its worst. Its still pretty damn good with Jolly.

Salamence

Salamence (F) @ Choice Scarf
Trait: Moxie
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Outrage
- Dragon Claw
- Earthquake
- Aqua Tail

Retain the earlier set if you do not decide to use RainApe. If you do, you'll need a Scarfer, and he's the best in OU IMO. Besides, the Roost set wont be doing much without HP Investment.

Great team LeBoss hope I helped.
