Clusterf#%* (Reuniclus) @ Leftovers / Kasib Berry
Trait: Magic Guard
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 HP / 216 SAtk / 40 SDef
Sassy Nature
IVs: 0 Spd
- Trick Room
- Calm Mind
- Recover
- Psychic
Let's start by introducing one of the typical leads on the team, Reuniclus. Reun is fragile physically, but on the upside, it has decent Sp. Def and wonderful HP. So that will let it Pull off Trick Room to start easily against specials and Fighting types, etc.. Calm Mind is to help give more firepower, and help live a Gengar or Chandelure Shadow Ball strike. (Calculated, it most likely 2HKO's on Chandelure, and with Kasib Berry, it's definite 3HKO with Gengar) Recover is really useful getting me 212 HP back-woohoo! :D And Psychic is my offense which gets STAB. If this thing were part Electric Charge Beam would be OP on it :P
Muscles (Conkeldurr) (M) @ Flame Orb
Trait: Guts
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 Atk / 36 HP / 220 Def
IVs: 0 Spd
- Bulk Up
- Ice Punch
- Mach Punch
- Hammer Arm
I've played a lot of noobs with this team, and I tell you, I swept noobs with this thing the most. Muscles is my jock of the team. Bulk Up & flex the first turn (and not just to impress my Meloetta xD) and Burn yourself at the end of that turn. No more Trick Room? No problem. That is why I have Mach Punch, a must on most any Conkeldurr. Hammer Arm gets me more power in exchange for a Speed drop which doesn't even matter since he's slow and Trick Room is up and I have Priority. Ice Punch is Flying Coverage mostly and also grabs me three other coverages.
Banded Scizor (Scizor) (M) @ Steel Gem
Trait: Technician
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 HP / 4 SDef
Brave Nature
IVs: 0 Spd
- Bullet Punch
- Bug Bite
- Acrobatics
- Swords Dance
Ahhh, my Scizor. Favorite Physical Attacker in OU. Bullet Punch is Priority. (Most of you know the story, but it's STAB and Technician, making it have a 90 Power.) With 90 Power and a Steel Gem, if it's even neutrally effective, Bullet Punch can do massive damage-usually just the slightest loss of previously lost HP, and if I still have my Gem, bye-bye. Acrobatics is boosted by Technician, making it an 82.5, and then if my Gem's gone, that makes it an extremely powerful 165, overpowering even my strongest STAB move and just like having STAB. (Bug Bite is 135) And Bug Bite, as I just mentioned, is extra STAB that still hits rather hard at 135 Power with Technician and STAB.
Bronzecoat (Donphan) (M) @ Life Orb
Trait: Sturdy
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 Atk / 196 HP / 60 Def
Brave Nature
IVs: 0 Spd
- Earthquake
- Ice Shard
- Seed Bomb
- Stone Edge
Donphan was always one of my favorites, but I was bad at using it. Trick Room provided me the perfect opportunity to use it. Earthquake is obvious; never pass up a STAB Earthquake. Ice Shard is priority in Donphan's final turn alive in a battle. (How does it learn that anyway? :P)Seed Bomb covers Water and other Grounds, and Stone Edge is further coverage.
I'm a Girl (Meloetta) @ Leftovers
Trait: Serene Grace
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 SAtk / 252 SDef / 4 HP
Quiet Nature
IVs: 0 Spd
- Hidden Power Ice
- Psychic
- Trick Room
- Thunderbolt
Ooooohh, what a pretty one. This Meloetta is boss, I tell you. She's the queen of the team. A decent 342 HP and 355 Sp. Def easily can set up Trick Room in most situations. Thunderbolt and HP Ice are coverage, and Psychic is STAB. Armed with an impressive 390 Sp. Atk, it does absolutely wonderful.
Graveyard Light (Chandelure) (M) @ Air Balloon
Trait: Flame Body
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 Def / 4 HP / 252 SAtk
Relaxed Nature
IVs: 0 Spd
- Trick Room
- Heat Wave
- Energy Ball
- Shadow Ball
Alright, before you start totally bashing me for my EV set, I wanted something who'd live a hard Physical hit like Crunch when coming in, so I made it Physically Defensive. I considered Acid Armor and a Specially Defensive EV spread, but I decided against it and go All-Out Sweeper and Physically Defensive instead. Heat Wave is STAB which provides a little bit more power than Flamethrower, which I like on Chandelure. I'm willing to take the accuracy risk. Energy Ball is weakness coverage, and Shadow Ball is more STAB, countering other Chandelure and Gengar.Besides, what Chandelure doesn't pack Shadow Ball?
That about sums it up. Feel free to suggest anything.
