Well this team has been in my teambuilder since i deleted all of my old ones, so that'd be about two months ago, roughly. Anyway, Mew asked if I wanted to make a team so I said sure, as I didn't have any OU teams and it's nice to have one or two in the armory. So we head into the smithy and craft the team.
Well I'm going to skip the teambuilding process mainly because I don't remember it, but also because I'm just not in the mood to type it all out :3
So here's the team,
Note on nicknames: I got to nickname three and Mew got to nickname three, see if you can guess who nicknamed who.
Ass (Jirachi) @ Expert Belt
Ability: Serene Grace
EVs: 148 Atk / 208 SAtk / 152 Spd
Naive Nature
- Iron Head
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Ice Punch
- Thunderbolt
The first member of the team, EBelt Jirachi can take a hit and then hit back. Most people expect it to be running choice so it's totally rad when I KO Lando with Ice Punch then kill Scizor next turn. TBolt hits Politoed, Tentacruel, Vaporeon, Skarmory and others. HP Fire hits Forretress, Scizor, and Ferrothorn. Ice Punch get the Dragons and Lando. Iron Head is last default move with STAB and Flinch chance.
Lando Calresian (Landorus-Therian) (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 248 HP / 148 Def / 112 Spd
Naive Nature
- Earthquake
- Stealth Rock
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- U-turn
This set is from Mew and allows Lando to tank physical attacks like a total pro after one intimidate. Stealth Rock provides hazards, with U-turn acting as scouting. EQ is STAB and gets me out of a tight spot, while HP Ice is run for much the same reason people run it on Mienshao and Terrakion.
Whore (Latias) (F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature
- Calm Mind
- Substitute
- Roost
- Dragon Pulse
Standard SubCM Latias with Roost for more survivability. Dragon Pulse is enough STAB to take on most of the tier. Heatran and Skarmory are issues with Whirlwind and Roar, but not to worry as I can handle those with the pokemon who gets drawn in.
Metallurgy (Scizor) (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Technician
EVs: 248 HP / 112 Atk / 148 SDef
Adamant Nature
- Pursuit
- U-turn
- Roost
- Bullet Punch
Life Orb Scizor is a dream as it has power and can run Roost to heal off residual damage. U-Turn is for momentum and gets STAB. BPunch is priority, while Pursuit traps Choice Locked Latias/Latios, Alakazam, Reuni, and others. SDef EVs allow for more survivability.
WISHYWASHY (Rotom-Wash) @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 248 HP / 28 SAtk / 232 SDef
Calm Nature
- Will-O-Wisp
- Pain Split
- Volt Switch
- Hydro Pump
I'll bet you saw this guy coming when you saw Scizor. It's your standard Rotom-WashWall with SDef EVs and Will-O-Wisp. Hydro Pump is STAB. VSwitch is momentum, Pain Split is recovery.
Et Tu Brutus (Terrakion) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Justified
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature
- Stone Edge
- Close Combat
- X-Scissor
- Earthquake
Revenge killer and clean-up crew this guy serves his purpose wonderfully. Standard set with Dual Stab and EdgeQuake, with X-Scissor as coverage. Perfect for dealing with those last three pokemon.
