I've never really liked the double battle format but I've kinda dropped in skill level OU and singles wise and I'm actually enjoying watching VGC stuff on youtube so I said screw it and created this. This is my first every team for the VGC format, I have a basic Idea of what I'm doing but suggestions are always helpful. Playing a couple mock games on showdown has gone fairly well so I just wanna make sure this is all solid before moving it to my actual game.

The team as follows-

Uncle Tauros (Tapu Bulu) @ Grassium Z
Ability: Grassy Surge
Level: 50
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Wood Hammer
- Horn Leech
- Rock Slide
- Protect

I liked Bulu as my main. Just the sheer power of wood hammer under grassy terrain is awesome. 81% chance to ohko uninvested garchomp, 2hkos max def and hp araquinid, and 2hkos tapu fini( under misty terrain ohkos on grassy terrain). while bloom doom ohkos all of them.

Dusenberg (Arcanine) (M) @ Aguav Berry
Ability: Intimidate
Level: 50
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpA / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Protect
- Will-O-Wisp
- Flamethrower
- Snarl

I like tank arcanine with intimidate and will-o-wisp. Fairly self explanatory set, evs could be changed a little bit but I like it so far. If I'm feeling trolly, I'll replace the berry with a red card because not many people can recover well from an unintended switch.

lil' Einstein (Celesteela) @ Leftovers
Ability: Beast Boost
Level: 50
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Def
Impish Nature
- Protect
- Leech Seed
- Toxic
- Heavy Slam

Again, self explanatory set. The only thing I worry about this was magnazone, marowaks, fini, kokos, and arcanines and the fact that I can't benefit from grassy terrain. Those were the mons I was focusing on countering.

2001 (Marowak-Alola) (M) @ Thick Club
Ability: Lightning Rod
Level: 50
EVs: 252 HP / 172 Atk / 84 Def
Adamant Nature
- Bonemerang
- Will-O-Wisp
- Shadow Bone
- Protect

Marowak is a good partner to celesteela because of lightning rod to redirect electricity and will o wisp to reduce damage. I'm currently debating on whether I should have flare blitz or will-o-wisp.

Ima Mac (Porygon2) @ Eviolite
Ability: Download
Level: 50
EVs: 244 HP / 12 SpA / 252 SpD
Sassy Nature
IVs: 0 Atk / 0 Spe
- Tri Attack
- Ice Beam
- Trick Room
- Recover

Seeing how slow my team was so far, I thought trick room wouldn't hurt to have. I worried about opposing marowak because they benefit under trick room and I have no offense against them. That leads me to my last mon.

Clyde (Mudsdale) (M) @ Assault Vest
Ability: Stamina
Level: 50
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD
Adamant Nature
- High Horsepower
- Heavy Slam
- Rock Slide
- Close Combat

I was going to use garchomp for this slot, but seeing how slow my team is I thought I could get away with something a bit tankier and not as succeptable to a tapu fini/ lele moonblast. plus High horsepower is a great single target ground move that ohkos tapu koko, Clyde is also very tanky with an assault vest. Heavy slam also does a ton of damageto tapu lele. This was my pick to counter arcanines, marowaks, koko, and magnazones, and muk all of which are outsped by mudsdale under trick room.

So there it is, my first VGC team ever. Potential problems I see is tapu fini. Other than bulu, the team has a hard time with it. I was thinking of replacing ice beam with thunderbolt but then I wuld lose coverage against dragons and be even more screwed against marowak. I also see that since this is a defensive team, I am losing a bit of damage output as non of my mons have anyway to boost their own stats. The last problem I see is susceptibility to status. The only way I could beat that is to ko an opposing fini in order to take advantage of the terrain.

Anyway, thank you for any recommendations you might have and thanks for taking the time to look at this team.
