GOGOAT - You shouldn’t even be using Gogoat, but if you really want to use him nickname him “Joltiemon GoAt” as a tribute to the former king of bad grammar. (Arcilion Gumich dethroned him.) Seriously though, Gogoat is far too slow to run 252 Speed EVs, and although his attack is decent, he works best as a tank. Keeping this in mind, make his EV layout somewhere along the lines of: 252 HP/252 SpD/4 Atk with a Careful Nature. Also, try adjusting his moveset to be more tank friendly. Here’s what I suggest: Toxic, Milk Drink, Horn Leech, and Earthquake. Also, Horn Leech doesn’t do nearly enough for a Big Root to be remotely useful. Instead, use Leftovers for a more reliable source of recovery.
PIDGEOT - I have no idea what the point of this Pidgeot is. Your team is leaning towards cancer stall, so I’ll oblige and make this Pidgeot a tank defogger.
Pidgeot @ Leftovers
Ability: Big Pecks
Impish Nature
EVs: 252 Def/252 HP/4 SpD
- Brave Bird
- Roost
- Defog
- U-Turn
I have played competitive Pokémon for 3 years, and in none of them have I ever seen an opponent drop my accuracy. Keen Eye is literally 99.99% useless. Instead, use Big Pecks so that Pidgeot remains uneffected by defense drops from secondary affects from certain attacks. (Not very common in PU, but much more useful than any of Pidgeot’s other abilities.) Your EVs were so weird, so I changed them to a physical wall that happens to have only mediocre base HP and Defense stat. Keep in mind Pidgeot sucks and I’m only keeping him because you want him on your team.
AURORUS - Normally I’d suggest the smogon set but all of them are weird Focus Sash + Stealth Rock or Choiced sets, so instead I’ll suggest improvements to your current set. First of all, Ice Beam and Blizzard on the same pokemon is ridiculous, just use Blizzard. (I chose Blizzard over Ice Beam because Blizzard has infinite accuracy in hail, which works beautifully with Aurorus’s ability. Blizzard also offers much more damage than Ice Beam, which gets boosted further by hail.) Now that you have a free moveslot, use Earth Power for coverage. Replace Calm Mind with Rock Polish and change his EV layout to 252 Spe/252 SpA/4 SpD with a Timid Nature to outspeed more. Now that your Aurorus is a Rock Polish sweeper, use Thunderbolt instead of Stealth Rocks for that OG BoltBema coverage. Finally, get rid of Aurorus’s Never-Melt Ice for a Life Orb to power up Aurorus’s other moves.
FERROSEED (AGGRON) - If you need a Steel Type tank with a 4x weakness to a common offensive typing, Ferroseed’s your man, not Aggron. Here’s the smogon suggested set:
Ferossed @ Eviolite
Ability: Iron Barbs
Sassy Nature
EVs: 248 HP/128 Def/132 SpD
IVs: 0 Spe
- Gyro Ball
- Leech Seed
- Protect
- Spikes
MESPRIT (BEHEEYEM) - Again, you make the same mistake of using Pokémon directly outclassed in their role and typing by another Pokémon. (Mesprit in this case.) It seems like you wanted a Calm Mind sweeper, and you’re missing a Z-User, so try this set:
Mesprit @ Fairium Z
Ability: Levitate
Timid Nature
EVs: 252 Spe/252 SpA/4 Def
IVs: 0 Atk
- Calm Mind
- Psyshock
- Dazzling Gleam
- Hidden Power [Fire]
SHUCKLE - While your set is okay, I’d like to suggest a troll set made by Pimpnite.
Shuckle @ Chesto Berry
Ability: Contrary
Bold Nature
EVs: 252 HP/172 SpD/84 Def
IVs: 0 Atk
- Shell Smash
- Infestation
- Toxic
- Rest
If you want the normal and boring set, fine. https://www.smogon.com/dex/sm/pokemon/shuckle/nu/
