I’m finishing up my VGC Team and just need a few suggestions. Th idea is basically to either have Cobalion get beat up and Dynamax, then tailwind or for gyarados to sweep when Dynamaxed. The dragapult doesn’t fill any roles and I’d like to switch it for someone to help against trick room/kingdra rain teams instead. If you have any better ev spreads, I’d appreciate that too. Thank you!

Whimsicott already has Taunt to help prevent opposing Trick Rooms from going up, but if you want more assurance against TR teams and an answer to rain, either Torkoal or Drampa can fit pretty well for both of those. Both are slow enough to use an opponent’s TR against them, and Torkoal can override rain with Drought while Drampa can ignore weather entirely with Cloud Nine.
Yeah, what I’m mostly worried about is Indeedee’s trick room since prankster taunt has priority and won’t work in psychic terrain. Drampa and torkoal are good ideas though, thanks!
Why Sacred Sword over Close Combat? Why Arcanine over Incineroar? Beat Up on Dragapult? (Maybe)
