Gliscor @ Assault Vest
Ability: Hyper Cutter
EVs: 6 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Poison Jab
- U-turn
- Earthquake
- Rock Slide

Eelektross @ Big Root / Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 6 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Hasty Nature
- Thunderbolt
- Giga Drain
- Crunch
- U-turn

Gliscor and Eelektross are my main leads. Eelektross has no weaknesses unless pulled down my Gravity or Smack Down (which I've never seen in competitive), and Gliscor is able to hit both enemies with STAB Earthquake, without hurting Eelektross. Poison Jab is a great move to deal with leading Prankster Whimsicott usually, and Rock Slide is another great option that hits both enemies, without damaging Eelektross.
Giga Drain on Eelektross is its main way of recovery, thus why I play with the Big Root item, and Crunch is to deal supereffective damage to leading Psychic types.

Pidgeot @ Pidgeotite
Ability: Keen Eye
EVs: 6 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
- Hurricane
- Heat Wave
- Feather Dance
- Roost

Pidgeot is my favourite Flying-type, so I had to put it on my team. No Guard Hurricane and Heat Wave are a really good combo, though I was considering doing HP Ground instead. Heat Wave hits both targets, and has a good chance to burn, which can come in clutch quite often. Pidgeot is my Sogaleo and Magearna counter.

Sigilyph @ Weakness Policy
Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 6 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
- Psychic
- Heat Wave
- Cosmic Power
- Roost

Sigilyph is my mascot, so of course I put it on my team. Weakness Policy is an OP item, and paired with Cosmic Power and Roost, it makes for an amazing combo, with STAB Psychic and Heat Wave to compliment it.

Salazzle @ Choice Specs
Ability: Corrosion
EVs: 6 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
- Sludge Wave
- Flamethrower
- Dragon Pulse
- Hidden Power [Dark]

No team is complete without a Choice user, as I've heard. Salazzle is kind of frail, but is speedy, and with HP Dark, can easily take out most Psychic types before she takes too much damage. Dragon Pulse is also quite nice coverage.

Lucario @ Life Orb
Ability: Steadfast
EVs: 6 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
- Calm Mind
- Aura Sphere
- Vacuum Wave
- Dragon Pulse

Life Orb Lucario is quite amazing, and a lot of people don't expect a special Lucario, which is why I appreciate this build a lot.

I'm aware these guys are pretty much all attackers, and I have no walls or setup sweepers, per se, but I don't like playing with those, so I went for all-out offensive. (Plus, I just didn't know what Pokemon would work well for setups or walls or whatever lol)

Usually we'd remove posts like this per rule 2.2, but I can see you've tried to follow the rules, so I'll explain the problems in some more detail.
You need to pick the battle format you want to play *before* you start teambuilding, and research what strategies/Pokemon are effective in that format. This team is very poor, and much of that stems from this error in your process.
There are resources in this post to help you make informed decisions when teambuilding: https://pokemondb.net/pokebase/meta/76386#a76464
If you want to know specifically why this team is bad, try looking at Smogon's viability rankings for Gen 7 DOU. You will see the metagame in this format is not reflected in this team whatsoever. https://www.smogon.com/forums/threads/3661293#post-8394179

Aside from that, some beginner pitfalls in your moveset choices that you can learn from for your next team:
* Don't use coverage moves just for defensive weaknesses. Coverage moves are for gaps in your offensive coverage, especially on offensive Pokemon. This applies even more to weak attacks like HP Dark, which actually does less damage to Psychic-types than your STABs (calc it yourself with https://calc.pokemonshowdown.com/).
* When you are inexperienced, you must be very sceptical of your own innovations. There is a reason Big Root Eelektross and WP Sigilyph have not caught on, and a beginner is not going to be the person to make them catch on. Start experimenting when you know enough about the metagame to form opinions about it.
* You seem to be consuming advice for singles formats and then applying it to doubles formats. Be mindful of this. Smogon is the best place to find advice for the right Pokemon in the right format.
Thank you for the reply. I realize that OU definitely wasn't the right spot to put this team on now (especially after trying to play it). I only said OU because of Lucario, which I want to I want to remove in favour of a better physical setup sweeper because of the addition of fairy types (gen 5 is my area of battling experience, to be honest).

I will probably redo this team entirely, and look at Smogon. I will try to play on Pokemon Showdown, as well, since I've mostly been playing this team on USUM, against strangers and my friends (which the team ran very well, thus why I thought it would do well in competitive in general).
