Falinks @ Sitrus Berry
Nature:Jolly
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Ability: Defiant
-Close Combat
-Iron Head
-No Retreat
-Throat Chop
Tera type:Steel
I want to use Falinks mainly as a threat if the opponent can’t counter them fast enough with no retreat and I chose steel Tera to counter fairy and resist psychic (which normally would counter Falinks hard)while enhancing iron head too.
Landorus-Therian @ Leftovers
Ability: Intimidate
Nature:Brave
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
-U-turn
-Earthquake
-Stealth Rock
-Stone Edge
Tera type:Ground
Im using him currently to start the battle with him intimidate opponents use stealth rocks and then leave with u-turn to nerf the opponent’s team in the start of the battle
Grimmsnarl @ Light Clay
Ability: Prankster
Nature:Impish
EVs: 252 HP / 168 Def / 88 SpD
-Reflect
-Light Screen
-Spirit Break
-Taunt
Tera type:Ghost
Helps volcarona or Falinks set-up more easily with light screen and reflect,so then they can resist and have more time to turn into actual threats
Dragapult @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Cursed Body
Nature:Adamant
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
-Shadow Ball
-Draco Meteor
-Will-O-Wisp
-Fire Blast
Tera type:Ghost
Overall just here to annoy the opponent with will o wisp and be able to switch him in and out to deal damage with Draco meteor and shadow ball with no risk because of the heavy duty boots
Gholdengo @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Good as Gold
Nature:Quiet
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
-Make It Rain
-Shadow Ball
-Focus Blast
-Thunderbolt
Tera type:Flying
Out speed most Pokémon and knock out the weaker Pokémon with the speed boost.Whilst also helping the stealth spikes stay in the field bcuz of his ability
Volcarona @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Flame Body
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Nature:Mild
-Quiver Dance
-Fiery Dance
-Bug Buzz
-Tera Blast
Tera type:Grass
Main sweeper and threat for the opponent whenever light screen and reflect are already settled up,then use quiver dance to deal even more damage and sweep.

Im new to the competitive scenario in Pokémon so I’m sorry if I couldn’t explain everything that well

You can have 6 Pokemon on your team, it's only when you bring them to battle that you have to bring 4 of your 6
Oh thx for the clarification
You seem to have build this for singles, but you said this team was made for doubles, which format is it actually?

I don't know your format, but like mentioned by Jshreves, it does really look like its built for singles. In doubles, hazards like Stealth Rocks and Spikes are basically useless because there's a lot less switching in doubles. The only time they've proven to be useful is on a Reg H team that was built around Garganacl stall, (it won the regional) but that team was very specific and highly optomized. Because hazards are so obsolete, Heavy Duty Boots are also basically useless, and you're also not allowed 2 of the same item on a team.
As far as I can tell, your team is a Reg F or DOU setup team centred around Falinks and Volcarona. Because its not self-setup, I'd highy recommend at least 1 or 2 Pokemon with Follow Me or Rage Powder. Seeing as you have a Landorus-T, you already have an Intimidate 'mon, so I'd recommend replacing Dragapult with Ogerpon-W because it has Water Absorb with Follow Me, which is great when fighting Urshifu-R, and when it terastalises, it receives a Special Defense boost.
Now, a full breakdown of your team and how to I'd optomize it (don't take my word for everything, I am a bit more biased towards main meta 'mons and Trick Room):
Falinks (also my fav mon):
You Falinks seems to be centred around setting up a No Retreat and then sweeping, and I know, he's also my favourite Pokemon, but even with doubled stats, he's not really that strong. But I think you're right in making a setup team with it, it just needs the right partners. You current EVs are good, but move the extra 4 into SpDef, its base 60, which is really bad. For the item, considering it's not that fast and is based around offense, instead of using Sitrus Berry, which is mainly a support Pokemon's first option, use a Life Orb for more damage or Focus Sash to ensure you can get up a No Retreat. For the moveset, I'd recommend removing Throat Chop and instead running Protect. I know this can sound really weird for someone just getting into competitive, but Protect is the best move in the game period. A vid on Protect and why its useful: https://youtu.be/1wUgeWu_hbA?si=v_duZ8QtW4oRvxfF. Everything else about your Falinks is perfectly fine.
Now moving on, you have Landorus-T, an infamously strong Pokemon. However, in recent years, it has seen a large decline, mainly because of a certain Pokemon... Anyways, you were right to have a Pokemon with Intimidate for your team. However, as mentioned before, hazards are useless, so switch Stealth Rocks and also Stone Edge for Rock Slide. As always, if there's a Rock Slide, there's a way. Your current set:
Landorus-Therian @ Leftovers
Ability: Intimidate
Nature:Brave
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
-U-turn
-Earthquake
-Stealth Rock
-Stone Edge
Tera type: Ground
There are many more problems with this. These are, your item choice, your nature, you EVs and your Tera Type. Landorus-T will almost always use Choice Scarf to ensure it's Rock Slides go off first and have a chance to flinch or Choice Band to increase damage to unholy levels. Also because Earthquake hits your partners in doubles, Stomping Tantrum is probaby better. Your nature should be Jolly as well, a Pokemon will always have an expendable stat and Landorus-T's is SpAtk because it doesn't use it. Landorus-T never wants to be slow so a Brave nature is terrible on it. For your EVs, just use Max Attack and Speed with the extra 4 in SpDef. Its Tera Type should be flying to give it reliable flying stab with Tera Blast, which will become Physical after Terastal. In summary, the updated set:
Landorus-Therian @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Intimidate
Tera Type: Flying
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Tera Blast
- U-turn
- Rock Slide
- Stomping Tantrum
Although, you could just use Incin, who's better for support and setup. Basically everything actually. Wolfe Glick's EUIC winning set (although with Knock Off over Protect, which is less common on it):
Incineroar (M) @ Safety Goggles
Ability: Intimidate
Tera Type: Bug
EVs: 252 HP / 84 Def / 172 SpD
Careful Nature
IVs: 16 SpA / 29 Spe
- Fake Out
- Flare Blitz
- Knock Off
- Parting Shot
Bug or Ghost tera are both good, depending on the meta and what you're struggling with.
Your next Pokemon is Grimmsnarl, another good Pokemon for setup teams, in fact I used it for a Raging Bolt setup team.
Grimmsnarl @ Light Clay
Ability: Prankster
Nature:Impish
EVs: 252 HP / 168 Def / 88 SpD
-Reflect
-Light Screen
-Spirit Break
-Taunt
Tera type:Ghost
This is another really good set, although I think just change the nature to Careful instead. Gives you more well-rounded defences.
Now, Dragapult. As a whole, I'd recommend removing Dragapult for a redirector to allow your Pokemon to setup safer. I'd recommend Ogerpon-W because it has Follow Me with Water Absorb which is useful to protect your Volcarona from threatening Water type moves. It hits extremely hard while being with investment it can be very bulky.
Ogerpon-Wellspring (F) @ Wellspring Mask
Ability: Water Absorb
Tera Type: Water
EVs: 44 HP / 84 Atk / 180 Def / 92 SpD / 108 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Follow Me
- Ivy Cudgel
- Horn Leech
- Spiky Shield
This is my recommended set for a bulky redirector, but if you want more offense, you can have more attack investment. The speed is 2 points higher than max speed Jolly Annihilape, I'm not sure if its all that relevant but its still useful.
For Gholdengo, I'd actually recommend just overhauling it and removing it. Instead, I'd recommend using Tornadus-I because it provides the speed control your team lacks and can prevent opposing TWs, TR and setup with Taunt, as well has help you ignore redirection by preventing them from using Follow Me or Rage Powder. It also recently received a new signature move, Bleakwind Storm, an 110 BP, 80 accuracy with a 30% chance to lower opponents speeds. It also hits both opponents so its a bit of gambling everytime you click it. My main Tornadus Incarnate set:
Tornadus @ Covert Cloak
Ability: Prankster
Level: 50
Tera Type: Steel
EVs: 180 HP / 36 Def / 4 SpA / 36 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Bleakwind Storm
- Tailwind
- Taunt
- Protect
It can run either Steel or Dark tera, Dark for Prankster Immunity and Steel for defensive benefits. Max speed to out speed opposing Prankster mons and Taunt them first. You could run a weather setting move or something else instead of Protect if you want.
Now, Volcarona, your set:
Volcarona @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Flame Body
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Nature:Mild
-Quiver Dance
-Fiery Dance
-Bug Buzz
-Tera Blast
Tera type:Grass
Again, Heavy Duty boots are useless, so switch them for Leftovers or Safety Goggle. I think you could run a bit more defence investment than special defence. Also, run Timid or Modest to increase damage or speed. You never wanna lower you defences, lower your unused attack stat. And lastly, change Tera Blast to Giga Drain.
A Pokepaste for the team (if you want to use it, just click import/export, paste the link and click save(in Pokemon Showdown)): https://pokepast.es/96a2412c2285f4ef
The Pokepaste team is largely simplified. By the way, if you want to watch some videos on VGC, I'd recommend WolfeyVGC, SkrawVGC, TheDelybird and Moxie Boosted. Sorry its so long.
**Edit: fixed the Pokepaste because I accidently had 2 Pokemon hold the same item

Yooo thx so much man I gotta take into consideration what you and jshreves said, thanks real thanks for the alterations to the team ,since I’m new it will be real helpful(glad to see a Falinks enjoyer too!)
If you really want to learn more about the setup archetype I think The Delybird's video on common team archetypes has it and for just generally learning stuff, all of them are really good, but meta and fundies are mainly The Delybird. Moxie Boosted has a lot of tier list stuff, Wolfey has general stuff and Skraw has a lot of breakdowns. Hope I helped :) (also glad to find another Falinks enjoyer, btw my friend code for showdown is on my page if u wanna friend me :))
I do watch Wolfey but I’ll give a watch to the other guys you talked abt,I don’t play Pokémon showdown but I could try, thanks man
Showdown's the best place to make and test teams, I'd definitely recommend it if you're just starting out

Here are the changes I came up with:

Falinks ---> Sneasler
This is 1 of 2 pokemon I decided to switch out. Falinks had some things going for it, but it was too easy to shut down due to needing Protect and No Retreat, so I switched it out for a Sneasler with this set:

Sneasler @Focus Sash
Ability: Unburden
Tera: Flying
EVs: Atk: 252, Sp. Def: 4, Spd: 252
Nature: Adamant
Moves:
Dire Claw
Close Combat
Acrobatics
Protect

Sneasler should be able to provide alot of pressure with solid damage and annoying stat from Dire Claw.

Landorus-Therian
With how much faster paced doubles is, Stealth Rocks aren't worth using, so I switched it out for Protect to keep Landorus safe. For similar reasons, I switched Leftovers for a Sitrus Berry for more on the spot healing. Spread moves are important in doubles, so I gave Landorus Rock Slide. Earthquake hits your partners in doubles, so I replaced it for Stomping Tantrum so you can more freely spam Ground STAB. Finally I put the Def EVs into Atk so it can deal the damage it needs to.

Grimmsnarl
You didn't do anything wrong with Grimmsnarl, but I do want to recommend Fake Out instead of Taunt because Fake Out is a very good tool to buy your other teammates time to reposition or Attack, but this isn't necessary if you want to keep Taunt.
___
Dragapult ---> Dragonite
Dragapult was doing just fine, but I noticed you had no speed control on your team, which is a death sentence for any team, plus you had no damaging priority moves, which is why I added Dragonite.

Dragonite @Loaded Dice
Ability: Multiscale
Tera: Normal
EVs: Atk: 252, Sp.Def: 4, Spd: 252
Nature: Adamant
Moves:
Scale Shot
Tailwind
Extreme Speed
Protect

Dragonite provides exactly the 2 things you needed: Tailwind for speed control and Extreme Speed for priority. Dragonite is also fairly bulky with Multiscale, so it should stick around for while.

Gholdengo
Focus Blast is here to count Dark types, but Dazzling Gleam gives you more spread moves and a more consistent option to hit Dark types, also Modest Nature is just better than Quiet when running Scarfed Gholdengo.

Volcarona
Tera Blast Grass isn't necessary because Volcarona already learns Giga Drain, Heat Wave is another Spread move which makes Volcarona even scarier when setting up, you don't need boots because Hazards are mostly non-exist in doubles, so Leftovers are better when Volcarona is ment to be sitting on the field for while, and you need Protect to keep Volcarona safe.

Hope these changes make you team more well suited to doubles.

Too man thx so much for the feedback on the team,I know Falinks pretty much sucks on the meta,I only wanna keep it in cuz it’s one of my favorites, but I will take in mto consideration the other changes you said, thanks!
