Pokémon Rate My Team

I already made a gen 1 and gen 3 team with a uncommon starter as the main thing making my team different to the meta, so I figured I'd make one for gen 2 aswell. (Note: I'm not that familiar with gen 2 so my team may not be all that good.)

Cloyster @Leftovers
-Surf
-Ice Beam
-Spikes
-Explosion
I wanted Spikes, so I put on Cloyster as my lead. Surf and Ice Beam are the best STAB Cloyster has got, Spikes are here for obvious reasons, and Explosion is to try and remove/weaken something (probably Snorlax).

Snorlax @Leftovers
-Body Slam
-Earthquake
-Curse
-Rest
I figured I'd just get this out of the way since everyone knows every Gen 2 team needs the king himself: Snorlax. Body Slam and Earthquake are the 2 damaging moves, Curse is to set up, and Rest is to stay alive.

Meganium @Leftovers
-Return
-Earthquake
-Swords Dance
-Synthesis
Meganium is actually pretty decent in gen 2 with 2 different niches. I chose the SD one, but I could be see the Screen version working aswell. Return and Earthquake are the best Physical options I saw, Swords Dance is so Meganium can set up, and Synthesis to heal up.

Zapdos @Leftovers
-Thunder
-Drill Peck
-Sleep Talk
-Rest
Zapdos with it's great offensive and defensive capabilities, made it seem like a good idea to include it. Thunder is over Thunderbolt for the required power, Drill Peck is the only real Flying option Zapdos has got, and then I have Rest Talk so Zapdos can keep the pressure up somewhat.

Moltres @Charcoal
-Fire Blast
-Sunny Day
-Whirlwind
-Hidden Power (Grass)
I noticed some problems with the team, then noticed Moltres helped patch some of those up. Fire Blast with Charcoal in the Sun is so strong it 2 hit KOs Snorlax, plus helps with Skarmory. Then I have Whirlwind to stop set sweepers, and HP Grass so I don't get stopped by Rhydon or Golem.

Golem @Quick Claw
-Hidden Power (Rock)
-Earthquake
-Rapid Spin
-Explosion
I thought that Golem could be a big help on this team with it's Electric immunity and Rapid Spin to clear Spikes. I have the good old Rock Slide + Earthquake combo (Edit: Rock Slide isn't allowed with Rapid Spin, so now it's HP Rock), plus Explosion for that burst damage. Also, i gave Golem a Quick Claw to help with it's speed.

1. I strongly reccomend giving Golem Leftovers, gen 2 OU games run long so you get a ton of value from them. Roar over HP Rock is also reccomended to force out Curse Snorlax, who can otherwise sweep this quite easily.
2. HP Ice > Drill Peck on Zapdos to hit Golem and Rhydon with.
3. Lead Snorlax would be better here as it doesnt lose to lead Zapdos. I also reccomend Double Edge on Snorlax here for more damage and a better matchup against other Curse Lax.
4. What problems does Moltres patch up here? It doesn't really synergise with anything here.
My 2 main sweepers are Meganium and Snorlax, which struggle against steels like Skarmory, so I added Moltres to pressure them more.
That doesnt really work as Skarmory will just switch out of Moltres and into whatever special wall their team is using. As you don't have any way to target and weaken special walls like Snorlax, Raikou, Blissey etc, Moltres will just be walled by them all game long. If you face a Skarmory stall team, then your physical attackers Snorlax and Meganium will be stone walled by Skarmory and your Moltres will be walled by their Blissey and/or RestTalk Raikou and you wont be able to make any progress. This team in its current state is going to struggle against well made Skarmory stall teams.
That is valid, this did happen to me a bit before you posted this, so I'm thinking of switching Moltres for a Belly Drum Charizard or a Tyranitar with Dynamic Punch and Fire Blast, but maybe there's something else that I'm missing.
I think Vaporeon with Surf, Growth and Rest Talk over Moltres could be a good fit here. Also consider changing Snorlax's moveset to 4 attacks(Double Edge, Thunder, Earthquake, Self-Destruct).
By the way, you should upload pokepastes of your teams, it makes them easier to review.

Issues with team
1. Lack of normal resistant roar user to force out Curse Snorlax. This team doesn't really have a way to force out a CurseLax that has already set up without using Explosion.
2. Lack of offensive power needed to break through common Skarmory stall teams. This team doesn't have a reliable way of breaking through Skarmory + Blissey or Skarmory + Raikou cores.
My changes
1. Moltres -> Vaporeon
Vaporeon @ Leftovers
Ability: none
- Surf
- Growth
- Rest
- Sleep Talk
Vaporeon is a dangerous sweeper that synergises well the explosion users on your team like Cloyster, Golem and Steelix.
2. Snorlax moveset changed to 4 attacks
Fire Blast and Thunder are meant to lure and KO Cloyster and Toxic Forretress respectively. Self Destruct is meant to take out opposing Curse Snorlax in order to open a sweeping path for Vaporeon and Meganium. You have Meganium on the team to check electrics like Zapdos, so you can get away with a more offensive Snorlax moveset here. Curse + Self Destruct may also be used here as way to lure in Skarmory and KO it, opening a path for Meganium in the process.
3. Toxic over Ice Beam on Cloyster
Toxic gives you a way to threaten opposing Cloyster and Snorlax without having to use Explosion.
4. Roar over HP Rock on Golem, Leftovers instead of Quick Claw
This team is fairly weak to Curse Snorlax since it has no normal resistant Roar user. GSC games tend to be very long, so you get way more value from the consistent healing of Leftovers than any other item.
5. HP Ice over Drill Peck on Zapdos
HP Ice also hits Rhydon and Golem while still hitting grass types reasonably hard.
6. Zapdos moved to lead slot
Zapdos can prevent opposing lead Cloysters from getting spikes up early on, so I chose it as a lead here.
