Ok, well i did NU Sun now i am at NU Rain! Here we go!

Illumise

Electrode @ Damp Rock
Trait: Static
EVs: 252 Spe/ 252 SAtk/ 4 SDef
Timid Nature (+Spe,-Atk)

  • Rain Dance
  • Thunder
  • Volt Switch
  • Taunt

My Rain Setter. He is my choice because as soon as he sets Rain, he can use a STAB Thunder or use Volt Switch to bring a Rain sweeper in safely. He is also the fastest Taunt user in NU.

Gorebyss

Gorebyss @ White Herb
Trait: Swift Swim
EVs: 252 SAtk/ 252 SDef/ 4 Def
Modest Nature (+SAtk,-Atk)

  • Shell Smash
  • Surf
  • Ice Beam
  • Hidden Power Grass

My ultimate Rain sweeper. Shell Smash + White Herb is deadly. Surf is STAB and Ice Beam is coverage against Grass types. HP Grass is for opposing Water types.

Swanna

Swanna @ Life Orb
Trait: Hydration
EVs: 252 SAtk/ 252 HP/ 4 Spe
Modest Nature (+SAtk,-Atk)

  • Surf
  • Hurricane
  • Rain Dance
  • Roost

Swanna is awesome in Rain. Hydration is a good ability in the Rain and Surf + Life Orb + Rain + STAB is equal to huge damage. Hurricane is for STAB as well and Rain Dance is to set up the Rain once again. Roost is a decent way to heal itself.

Swellow @ Flame Orb
Trait: Guts
EVs: 252 Atk/ 252 Spe/ 4 HP
Jolly Nature (+Spe,-SAtk)

  • Facade
  • Brave Bird
  • U-Turn
  • Steel Wing/ Roost

This bird packs a punch and is very fast. Flame Orb activates Guts and Facade is now STAB + Guts boost which makes it very powerful. Brave Bird is Swellow's other STAB. U-Turn is also a good way to bring a Rain Sweeper. Steel Wing can be for coverage against Rock types but Roost heals off the recoil from Brave Bird.

Golem

Golem @ Leftovers
Trait: Sturdy
EVs: 252 Atk/ 252 Def/ 4 HP
Impish Nature (+Def,-SAtk) or Adamant Nature (+Atk,-SAtk)

  • Stealth Rock
  • Earthquake
  • Stone Edge/ Rock Blast
  • Roar/

This guy goes pretty well in my Rain team and he is one of my favorite Pokemon! His role is to set up Stealth Rock as much as possible and then use Roar. He is also my Electric attack avoider. Earthquake is for STAB and to defeat Electric types. Stone Edge is a STAB Rock attack as well but in some occasions, Rock Blast can be better. I don't know which one to choose!

Sawk

Sawk @ Choice Scarf
Trait: Sturdy
EVs: 252 Atk/ 252 HP/ 4 Spe
Adamant Nature (+Atk,-SAtk)

  • Close Combat
  • Earthquake
  • Payback
  • Ice Punch

This guy is extremely powerful with Choice Scarf. Close Combat kills everything that its teammates cannot wear down. Earthquake is here because my team is weak to Electric types and Golem cannot take care of them all by himself. Payback is for coverage against Psychic types and Ice Punch is for coverage against Grass types and Flying types.

The end! My first NU Rain Team! I am going to make a NU Sandstorm team, a NU Hail team and another NU Sun team. Thanks for reading and thank you for answering!

Once again, your lead is WAY to frail. You should have a poke that has decent defense.
Wheres my bulbasaur gone?
Frail or not, he was made to die. Rain Dance, then use Thunder. If the Pokemon seems like a S-Rock set upper, use Taunt instead of Rain Dance on the first turn.
What are you talking about, once again? --'
I meant about the Bulbasaur xD
Hah! YOu told me steel wing on swellow was ridiculous!!!!!

Electrode
Like Faked Tower said, your lead is way to frail. Once he sets up rain he's got two turns max to live and then it's bye bye rain. Switch his EVs to this: 252 Spd/ 126 Def/ 126 SpDef
It'll allow him to survive at least a couple of hits.
If you really think that set is awful then maybe switch him for a better Rain Dancer, perhaps......

Mantine
He is a lot bulkier especially on his SpDef side. Give him this sort of set and you'll be all good for a rain dancer.

Mantine @ Damp Rock
Bold Natured
EVS: 252 Def / 126 SpDef / 126 HP
Hydro Pump
Rain Daince
Ice Beam
Air Slash

Most of that is from Smogon but I changed the nature and the EVs. The nature will help you more on your defensive side. Say you run into a Cinncino with Rock Blast. You'll be able to live one attack and you can Hydro Pump it's face out of the ball park. I didn't give it 252 EVs in SpDef because it's SpDef is already so high that it doesn't need much more of it.

Gorebyss
A bit broken but I like it. Leave it how it is.

Swanna
You don't really need Rain Dance on this now that Mantine is in your team. Rain Dance is just in the way and is noting without Damp Rock. So switch it out for Air Slash.

**Swellow*
What are you doing with Steel Wing and Roost on this thing? Get rid of that and give it Protect. This strategy is awesome. You send Swellow in making them think it's going to revenge kill with Quick Attack or something, but you use protect instead to get your Burn on. Unless they have a Rock/Steel type there is no way anything is surviving Brave Bird or Facade from this thing.

Golem
This is really iffy because if they take advantage of your rain and use Surf or something they can really hurt it. It'll become useless after all the damage it's taken. I don't have any other replacement but a standard Stealth Rock Cradily set.

Cradily
Cradily @ Leftovers
Bold Natured
Evs: 252 Def/ 252 HP/ 4 SpAtk
- Giga Drain
- Stealth Rock
- Protect
- Recover

Sawk
Pretty average Sawk. Leave it how it is.
