The Wildlings, now with mild updates and random trivia that's mainly written down so I remember!
Vera

Black hair, green eyes.
A rather rebellious girl. She has trouble taking orders and prefers to be alone. She often hunts by herself, even though she knows it's dangerous. She's also really stubborn, so getting her to take you along for the ride is difficult. She gets very angry if you follow her somewhere, even if you save her from harm, or even save her life. She's known to hold grudges, even if they're from ages ago. She believes that, since she doesn't really like the other Wildlings, they don't like her, even if that's untrue.
- Vera's eyes are green as a reference to aloe vera.
Conrad
This boy has more scars than birthdays. He always wants to lead the charge, or anything, really, and is very protective of the other Wildlings, especially those under his 'command'. However, he's rather reckless, and this often leads to injuries, but he'll shrug them off with ease, especially if danger is nearby. He has a never-give-up attitude, and will keep fighting even if he's on the ground, bleeding and crippled. He enjoys the companionship of other Wildlings, especially Zephyr, who he sees as a little brother, but he also has quite a temper and doesn't shy away from a fight. Regardless, he's well-respected among the Wildlings, and enjoys training anyone who needs or wants to become better at hunting or combat.
- Conrad's name was suggested to me.
- Conrad's name was chosen because it reminded me of comrade.
- Conrad is the oldest Wildling.
Archie
Black hair, brown eyes.
A collector of anything interesting to him, this boy is known for hoarding plants and meat, even if others need them. While he doesn't really mean any harm, he doesn't like to give others what he finds, as he believes that it belongs to him, and is completely baffled if somebody gives him a gift. Since the other Wildlings are often annoyed by his hoarding behavior, he's not very social. Despite this, he has a crush on Vera, seeing her as a fellow 'outcast', and though he often gives her food, she rarely pays him any mind. While mostly quiet and peaceful, he can become quite aggressive if anyone messes with his hoard, and if he notices anything missing, he'll frantically try to find out who's taken it.
- While Arc was suggested to me for his name, I chose Archie because it sounded more like a real name.
Zephyr
Blond hair, green eyes.
This boy is as curious and as playful as a kitten. He gets excited over the smallest things as long as they're new or interesting to him. He's easily flustered and surprised. He's also very loyal to his friends and likes to help them, and often acts before he thinks if he's worried about them. He has a rather cheerful and jolly personality, but he can be a bit childish at times. However, he's not childish enough to avoid having a crush on Eva, whose kind and friendly personality he adores.
- Zephyr's name is shared with another character of mine, who has similar appearance and personality traits. Said character's name was inspired by the Final Fantasy 6 Relic, Zephyr Cloak.
Eva
This sweet girl has quite a friendly disposition. She views all the Wildlings as friends, unless one of them changes her mind. She can get very lonely if she's alone too long, so she loves sleeping next to someone, even if he's not a very close friend. She often drags other Wildlings into games, even if he doesn't want to play. But by the end of it, they're usually both in a good mood. While she's quite a joy to be around, she refuses to hunt because she doesn't like to kill animals, and instead focuses on foraging and cooking.
- Eva's name was suggested to me.
Leo
Brown hair, brown eyes.
The youngest member of the group, this little lad is determined to be just as strong as his fellow Wildlings. He often wants to train, and is known to push himself a bit too hard at times. He doesn't think before he acts much, and believes he can fight off anything. He's not good at staying put, and is known to follow hunting parties and Wildlings he likes. If he wants to do something, he'll do it, and nobody can change his mind. However, he can be very kind at times, and is strongly attached to his friends, seeing them as brothers. Being young and without a father or brother, he looks up to Hunter because of his 'achievements', much to Rex's dismay.
- Leo was inspired by a character who appeared in a dream of mine. I know for sure that he shared Leo's name and hair color.
- Leo is the youngest Wildling.
Henry
Black hair, brown eyes.
The stealthiest of the Wildlings, this young man is a valuable hunter because he's good at sneaking up on and surprising prey. And despite being normally quiet, watchful, and calm, he has a mischievous streak and loves to surprise his fellow Wildlings. He also likes to stay hidden for his own protection, and so he can figure out what's going on all over camp without being noticed.
- Henry's name was suggested to me.
Rex
Strawberry blond hair.
This boy's climbing skills are unmatched among the Wildlings, possibly because climbing is his favorite hobby. However, he's infamous for his 'playful' behavior. He often pushes other Wildlings into rough-and-tumble games and accidentally hurts his 'playmates'. Another one of his favorite games is to swipe something belonging to another Wildling and flee. It's rare for anyone to catch up with him, which saddens him because there's no challenge. And whenever he's confronted about his behavior, he becomes confused because he believes he's only playing, not doing anything wrong. The only Wildling he seems to act particularly caring toward is Leo, who he doesn't play nearly as roughly with and is very protective of. He has trouble sitting still, and it's common to see him twitching and stretching if he's not moving around.
- Rex's name was suggested to me.
- I always imagine Rex as having orange hair for some reason.
