The DB wasn’t as well developed or easily navigable in 2011, lol. This site had many year of development. I remember Pokédex pages, but not the other pages, but that might’ve been skill-issue.  I know when I was 10 I couldn’t navigate the site very well.
Additionally, a lot of questions were asked just to be asked. For points, because they didn’t want to look it up, didn’t know how to look it up, etc. It’s because of questions like the one you’re complaining about that we added the rule against asking questions with answers easily found on the site.
All that to say, things were very different back then, so grace is to be given, as you don’t know the circumstance. It’s okay to think it’s silly, but there’s no need to bring shame to something that happened 14 years ago, yknow?
