Stalking walls and read the below. I generally wouldn't do this but in the interest of helping keep the site alive I suppose I will.
Ty's pretty well described the problems some people (or, at the very least, me) have with your answers. They're *good* answers, but they tend to be a bit more wordy than necessary. I think the most important thing to do when writing most answers is to make the important information easy to find and consume. For example, if the question asks if there are any bug and fire type pokemon, the answer should be "Yes, they are [Pokemon]." Generally, the simpler the question, the shorter the answer should be. If YOU asked a simple question, would you want to read a whole paragraph? If you think that extra information that isn't directly obvious would be helpful for the matter at hand, you should add it, but I'd highly recommend emboldening the most important parts of the answer so people can easily find what they're looking for.
For example, I think that everything after the first sentence of the important note here is unnecessary. A full guide about the changes isn't necessary, as your answer (to a question specific to Leafeon/Glaceon) should already cover the relevant information. Things like linking to Eevee's page are also unnecessary. It's not hard to find and it's somewhat distracting. This is a forum, not Wikipedia.

Just to be clear, long answers are not always bad, the question just needs to warrant having an answer of significant length. Side notes should be relevant and useful to the question. I wrote an answer a while ago regarding the genre of the music of RSE and a good chunk of the answer wasn't about what genre the music is, but rather that genre is a social construct, and while I don't think it's quite as obvious as it should be in the answer, the entire point of that section is to ask if genre even really matters. I'd also like to point out that I acknowledged that it could be seen as fluff (and also gave my justification for wanting to add it). Could the answer be "the genre is classical hope i helped :)"? Yes, absolutely. That's why I put certain parts of the text in bold; if you read just the bold parts you'll pretty quickly get a simple answer. That being said, I'm far more knowledgeable about music than most people, as I went to college for it, so I felt that I could give a more in-depth analysis of the music and better explain how I came to the conclusion I did (aided by my knowledge of music), why that might not necessarily be a very good conclusion, and explain why coming to a super definitive conclusion is neither necessary or possible. Long? Yes. Too long? Probably. That being said, if you're genuinely interested in the what and why of the answer, I think that it's all worth reading.

I'm probably going on a tangent here, but my point is that you need to be able to justify what you add to your answers. They should obviously directly answer the question at hand, be easily readable, and cite sources. Very occasionally there may be an underlying question or piece of information you should address. For example,
https://pokemondb.net/pokebase/189937/was-volcarona-originally-meant-to-be-a-legendary?show=435898#a435898 I address the question at hand, and then I address why people might have thought it was a legendary Pokemon, which I felt was relevant to the answer. Did I overexplain? Probably. But I also covered all of my bases. I could have said "people probably thought this because volcarona is an overworld encounter" but I felt that it'd also be worth mentioning that that's the only characteristic that volcarona shares with legendary pokemon.
All that rambling aside, most questions don't need that sort of information, and you can give a good, thorough answer without stepping on the toes of readability and brevity.

Here's another one. The answer to the title of the question is in the first paragraph, in bold. If you're just curious about how many mew events there are, there you go. Right there, close the tab and never think about it again. The description of the question, however, seems to be asking more about how many unique mews there are total, which the answer addresses by elaborating on the fact that some of the events are pretty much the same. Hope this all makes sense, I might just be talking myself in circles.
I want to talk about humor in answers, but really the most definitive thing is keep it relevant and don't let it distract from the matter at hand. Don't just force a joke into an answer. Add one if it makes sense. A user I'd like to bring to your attention is Toucanadian. A beast back in the day, and I fondly remember him for writing great answers that occasionally had a funny sidenote. Some of the humor has probably aged poorly and is no longer funny, but it may be worth checking out some of his answers.
https://pokemondb.net/pokebase/285908/whats-with-decidueyes-typing?show=285921#a285921 This one works jokes (or just fun stuff in general) into it very fluidly. Little thinks like referring to Incineroar as Tony the Tiger and needlessly clarifying that stilt owls are extinct help the long answer feel less stiff. The formatting is also great.
Nobody has a problem with you personally. As for me, a lot of it is just that I tend to not like being around young people. Even high schoolers I tend to not enjoy the company of. That being said my personal opinions on anybody do not affect what I think of the work they do. I think sumwun is a pain in the ass and I'm not really fond of him on a personal level (if you can even get personal with that guy), but I think he's one of the best contributors the site's ever had. Likewise, I'm quite fond of Ty on a personal level, but sometimes they do things in ways that I don't always agree with because we're different people with incredibly different personalities and incredibly different ways of interacting with people. Just to be clear, my problems with your contributions to the site have nothing to do with who/what you are and are specific to the contributions. I know I don't always come off as a particularly nice person, so I thought it was worth mentioning. I'm bullshitting 90% of the time I'm here.
