Is Eruption worth it?

I have a Typhlosion lv40 in heartgold, and I wonder if I'm gonna choose Blast Burn instead of Eruption, but I don't know wich I should choose?

Eruption obviously.When typhlosion has full hp,the power will be 150 and slowly decreases when your hp goes down.Blast burn is next turn charge move which is totally bad as the foe can easily take you out.So yeah eruption is a good choice.Also keep flamethrower for your Pokemon in case you have low hp.

I learned it Blast Burn cause it work much greater with blaze, if blaze is activated eruption won't do a thing, and blast burn will be super powerful.

yes. it's an exellent move 'cause the more HP the more the damage.Eruption is the typhlosion's best move.But be careful, don't use it when you have low HP.i would suggest it.
Blast Burn is powerfull all right but the user has to recharge and that is a disadvantage.
So Eruption it is.

I would actually advise against Eruption in-game. In-game, you aren't always going to be at full health, as damage accumulates as you play. Also, frequently there is only one Pokemon you need to take out, and Blast Burn serves as a powerful finishing blow to the opponent.

Once you're post-game, slap a choice Scarf on that Typhlosion, and spm Eruption for al you're worth.
