Im currently running Leech Seed on Ferro and never use it because I believe it an entry hazard.
No. Entry hazards are things that damage Pokemon when they enter battle (before making any turns). They are: Stealth Rock, Spikes and Toxic Spikes. Pretty sure those are the only ones.
