The pokeballs used in the anime are pokeballs, safari balls, gs ball, all of kurt's apricorn balls(level ball, moon ball, lure ball, friend ball, love ball, fast ball, and heavy ball), master ball, luxury ball, repeat ball, great ball, ultra ball, premier ball, heal ball, net, dusk ball, nest ball, quick ball, timer ball, and dive ball.
These pokeballs are shown in order of appearance.
The only ones not shown were sports balls, cherish balls, park balls, and dream balls.

It was introduced in Genaration 1 in the anime. You can't open it for a Pokemon inside. No matter what,Professor Ivy (another Professor in Kanto in the anime.) with the help of her 3 daughters,it was impossible to open the G ball. And also,since it had a g,Professor Ivy named it the g ball,because nobody knows that pokeball's name.
