So, can I write movesets for Eevee here?
Seeing as Eevee is a pre-evolution of Sylveon, I'd say yes.
But It's said so in moveset questions of every Eeveelutions!
Ok, so? Eevee is a pre-evolution of every Eeveelution...
Yeah! But it's a little bit strange...

Vampiric Defender Sylveon
Vampiric Defender

Sylveon @ Pixie Plate / Rocky Helmet
Ability: Cute Charm
EVs: 252 Def / 252 SpA
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Wish
- Light Screen / Reflect
- Draining Kiss
- Shadow Ball

At 1st glance this set may seem odd or not so useful, it takes some mastering but believe in the power of Sylveon's Draining Kiss! And that's why I call this the Vampiric Defender Sylveon. Speed is a lost cause on Sylveon so embrace the slow. Bold Nature is what you want and prioritize boosting Def 1st to complement Sylveon's good Sp. Def, and secondly, put the rest into Sylveon's already good Sp. Attack. Wish is always a great option obviously, Light Screen or Reflect based on which your party benefits better from. Next is the core of this moveset. The item Pixie Plate boosts Fairy moves and with STAB and Sylveon's strong Sp. Atk - Draining Kiss hits for a very heavy 100 base damage and you recover a high 75% HEALTH based off damage dealt. This should keep your slow Sylveon in the fight much longer. Shadow Ball takes advantage of Sylveon's high Sp. Atk and Draining Kiss makes Sylveon great against the Psychic/Ghost/Dark trio and obviously those pesky Dragons and Fighting types. Alternatively, Rocky Helmet combined with Cute Charm should make things interesting for physical attackers, although it's still best to keep Sylveon in the back during prolonged fights against physical teams, and I strongly prefer Pixie Plate as the item. This Sylveon fills a crucial role in my party and may just work extremely well for me, it was kinda experimental and was very successful for me.

Sylveon @ Choice Specs
Ability: Cute Charm
Modest Nature
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Def / 252 SpA
- Hyper Voice
- Shadow Ball
- Psyshock
- Hidden Power [Fire]

-Hyper Voice: good power and hits both opponents in double battles
-Shadow Ball: gets rid of psychic and other ghost
-Psyshock: gets rid of poison and fighting
-Hidden Power Fire: gets rid of steel, grass, ice and bug

I know this is late, but Hyper Voice and Cute Charm don't go well together. If you use Cute Charm, I recommend using Moonblast. If you use Hyper Voice, use Pixilate so Hyper Voice will become a fairy-type move.

The Vampire

Honestly, I love Sylveon because of its bulk. This is one of my favorite sets to run, and while Sylveon's speed can be its downfall. I feel like this set could work really well with different EV combos, too, depeding on your own play style.

enter image description here

Sylveon (F) @ Big Root
Ability: Pixilate
EVs: 252 HP / 126 Def / 4 SpD / 126 Spe OR 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
- Hyper Voice
- Draining Kiss
- Calm Mind
- Substitute

Hyper Voice should become standard with Sylveon. You can bypass other Sub users, which is a must because it's likely they're going to use that to set up (just like with this set). Draining Kiss is going to be your key recovery move here. After a few Calm Minds, you're going to regain a LOT of health to keep fueling your Substitutes. Calm Mind is self-explanatory. Boost your SpAtk and SpDef to soak up more special attacks. Substitute makes for great stalling and a good set up buffer--just be wary of your standard speed status leads, like Furfrou.

Obviously not prioritizing Def makes you weaker to physical hitters, so it's up to you to decide if you want to try and outspeed (good luck) or outlast. When I first got this girl, she had the second set of EVs. She was decent but couldn't take a hit from Fighting types. After retraining her, she's a hell of a wall.

If you've got any tips on how to improve this set, comment and let me know! This is my first real set, so I'd love to learn more.

Sylveon @ Weaknesses Policy
Ability: Pixilate
Evs: 252 Hp / 252 Def / 6 SpA
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)

-Heal Bell
-Psyshock/Stored Power
-Calm Mind
-Hyper Voice

Explanation: This is more of a Doubles Set than a Single Set. Weakness Policy raises Attack and Special Attack by 2 stages when hit by a Super Effective move. Heal Bell cures the status Conditions of all the Pokemon in your inventory. Psyshock or Stored Power is Your choise of Poison Type coverage. Psyshock is used to hit Special Walls like Blissey and Mantine or Stored Power stacks with the Stat Boosts from Weakness Policy and Calm Mind. Calm Mind raises Special Attack and Special Defense by 1 stage each and it stacks with Stored Power. Hyper Voice is STAB with Pixilate and can hit Multiple foes in Double Battles and Battle Royals/Triple Battles.

Sylveon (F) @Life Orb or Assault Vest
Ability-Pixilate
EV-Sp.Def 252, Hp 129, Sp.Atk 129
Nature- Modest
-Dazzling Gleam
-Shadow Ball
-Physhock (If Life Orb)/Hyper Voice (If Assault Vest)
-Trump Card(If Assault Vest)/Toxic (If Life Orb)/Calm Mind (Instead of Toxic)

Dazzling Gleam because STAB and very useful in double/triple battles
Shadow Ball because good type coverage and power
Physhock because just blast people with intergalactic power if you know what I mean
Hyper Voice because STAB and can be useful again in double/triple battles and also who doesn't want to kill a dragon by shouting at it
Trump Card because in double battles + ally with spite = POWER
Toxic because you can do switch in switch out combo or just tank hits
Calm Mind because power + defence = TANK

Sylveon @Pixie Plate / Life Orb

Ability: Cute Charm
EV's: 252 Def, 252 Speed, 4 Sp. Def
Nature: Serious (Neutral nature.)

  • Draining Kiss (Drain the foe's HP, STAB)

  • Moonblast (STAB, Powerful move)

  • Shadow Ball (Chance to lower foe's Sp. Def )

  • Calm Mind / Reflect / Light Screen (If you want to be annoying, go for calm mind. If you want to defend against attacks, go for Light Screen or Reflect)

Sylveon can be annoying sometimes with the Calm Mind, But if you want to get some defenses up, I'd higly suggest to use Reflect or Light Screen.
Sincerely, Chocolate. :3

Why a Serious Nature when you can use a Modest Nature or a Bold Nature? :/

Just so you know, this Sylveon is the one my friend gave me, and it's EPIC.
Sylveon@Choice Specs
Ability: Pixilate
EVs: 4 Def / 252 Sp. Atk. / 252 Sp. Def.
Nature: Bold(Atk.,+Def.)
Moves:
Hyper Voice
Shadow Ball
Psyshock
Baton Pass
Here's the fun part. Start spamming Hyper Voice. STAB, Choice Spces, and Pixilate give it a stunning 1.5x1.5x1.3 power!
Now Hyper Voice deals 263.25 damage!

Sylveon (F) @ Metronome
Ability: Pixilate
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpA / 4 SpD
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Echoed Voice
- Psyshock
- Shadow Ball
- Calm Mind

Echoed Voice with Pixilate and Metronome is a great combination because Pixilate gives a 20% increase to Echoed Voice and a 50% boost from STAB because its now a Fairy-type move and every turn its base power increases by 40 base power because that's how Echoed Voice works and a 20% increase every turn because of Metronome. Although Echoed Voice could easily be shut down by Soundproof or disabling moves and abilities such as Disable and Cursed Body. (BTW the bonuses may not actually add up the way I said they do, so be cautious.)

Psyshock is an obvious choice as it provides coverage for Poison-type Pokemon but of course not all Pokemon that learn Poison-type moves have to be Poison-type. Also, Psyshock is good if you are battling a Pokemon with extremely high Special Defense and low Defense like Florges and Goodra (Although Echoed Voice might just be as good in this situation as long as it has received enough of a boost from its passive effect and the Metronome).

Shadow Ball is used in most Sylveon builds so why not?

Calm Mind because having the increased Special Attack means that if you have to switch and use a different move because Echoed Voice was shut down by stuff mentioned earlier, you can do more damage then you normally would.

Now I only use this build because I don't have access to Hyper Voice because I only have Moon but that doesn't matter, use this build if you want, I just wanted to share something I use with the rest of the world.

For the Singles

Sylveon @ Leftovers

Nature: Modest

252 HP 252 SpA 4 Spd

Ability: Cute Charm

  • Calm Mind
  • MoonBlast
  • Hidden Power Ground
  • Psyshock

How to use this set

So, first you set up a few Calm Minds. That's what the 4 Spd is for. The Cute Charm is because genders on Showdown is random. And we have no Normal moves. Sucks to have a ability that does literally nothing. HP Ground is super effective against that resists Fairy. Psyshock is for the Special Walls. And Moonblast is better than Dazzling Gleam + the possible Special Defense drop. That's all you need to know about it.

-MOVES-

-Moonblast: STAB and great power and accuracy :D

-Calm Mind: Raises Sp.Atk and Sp.Defense !

-Draining Kiss: You get health back, plus it goes great with calm mind... HEH.. evil laugh

-Shadow Ball/Hidden Power (fire): Shadow Ball to get rid of Ghost Types AND Psychic types!, OR Hidden power fire to get rid of steel types, grass types and yeah.

I hope this moveset can help you out !

Edit: I changed the picture because I didnt like that it was big >_>

Sylveon @ Pixie Plate
Ability: Pixilate
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 SpD
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Calm Mind
- Hyper Voice
- Hyper Beam/Wish/Draining Kiss/Protect
- Hidden Power [Ground]

Calm mind boosts stats, HP Ground covers both weaknesses, Hyper Beam if you want to go overkill, Hyper Voice because Pixilate, Wish/Protect/Draining Kiss for Healing as Sylveon does not have the best Defense. After setting Up +6, I tested and only two or three Pokemon can survive a Hyper Beam. Check it in a damage calculator if you want. I use this a lot in competitive.

Sylveon in most cases works as a Cleric.
Mine's a bit Unique.
Ladies and gentlemen, I introduce Sniper Sylveon
Treat it like you would a sniper rifle.

Sylveon @ Fairium Z
Ability: Pixilate
EVs: 252 HP / 72 SpA / 184 SpD
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Hyper Beam
- Substitute
- Wish
- Calm Mind
Hyper Beam wrecks the **** out of everything. Sylveon is probably one of the best hyper beam users out their with that thicc pixelate + stab boost. Revenge kills, simple elimination, you name it. It might not be effective at the UU metagame rn, but hey its fkn fun to use ;).

Sylveon (F) @Pixie Plate
Ability: Pixilate
Evs: 252 HP, 129 Sp. Atk, 129 Sp. Def
Nature: Modest (+Sp. Atk, - Atk)
- Hyper Voice/Hyper Beam
- Moonblast
- Calm Mind
- HP Ground/Psychic

Hyper Voice or Hyper Beam is turned into a Fairy-type Move by Pixilate, giving it STAB (I think). Moonblast has good power, good accuracy, and gets STAB. Calm Mind to boost an already monstrous Sp. Atk stat even more. HP Ground or Psychic for coverage. Hyper Voice or Hyper Beam as well as Moonblast are also raised in power due to the Pixie Plate.

Sylveon @ Aquav Berry
Ability: Cute Charm
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpD
Sassy Nature (+SpD, -Spe)
- Substitute
- Protect
- Toxic
- Wish
The idea for this set is too toxic your opponent and wait for them to faint from toxic damage. A good thing to do is to use Toxic, then repeat Wish and Protect, until the opponent faints. You can use Substitute if you have the health for it.

Sylveon @ Leftovers
Ability: Pixilate
Modest Nature
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 SpD
- Hyper Voice
- Wish
- Protect
- Heal Bell

Hyper Voice: turns into Fairy-type STAB with Pixilate
Wish: heal HP
Protect: stall to heal HP back with Wish
Heal Bell: cure party of status conditions

Sylveon @ Light Clay
Ability: Pixilate
EVs: 248 HP / 128 Def / 4 SpA / 128 SpD
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Hyper Voice
- Heal Bell
- Reflect
- Light Screen
Sylveon set what i’ve often used, it’s fine HP and Sp.Def make it easy to set screens without too much damage taken from the others.

Sylveon @ Leftovers / Pixle Plate
Ability: Pixilate
EVs: 156 HP / 100 Def / 252 SpA
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Hyper Voice
- Calm Mind
- Protect
- Wish
This set is totoally too overpowered, wish + calm mind + protect +pixilate + mega stab = death.
i’ve tried to use this set and OHKO a Torkoal.

Fast Special Sweeper
Sylveon (F) @ Pixie Plate
Ability: Pixilate
Modest Nature
EVs: 126 HP / 252 SpA / 126 SpD / 4 Spe
- Moonblast / Calm Mind
- Psyshock
- Shadow Ball
- Hyper Voice

Moonblast is a move with good power, great accuracy, a 50% STAB boost. Psyshock has good power, accuracy, and covers your Poison type weakness. Shadow Ball is good coverage, plus has a 20% chance to lower the target’s SpDef. Hyper Voice had good power and accuracy, and with Pixilate it gives you a 30% boost in power plus another 50% STAB boost. Better to get rid of Moonblast than Hyper Voice if you want Calm Mind, because of Pixilate.

Annoying Toxic Staller
Sylveon (F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Pixilate
Calm Nature
EVs: 126 HP / 4 Def / 126 SpA / 252 SpD
- Reflect
- Light Screen
- Toxic
- Protect / Wish

Reflect and Light Screen half all damage, unless someone uses Psychic Fangs or Brick Break or other
barrier breaking moves that might come in the future. Toxic will gradually kill the opponent unless it’s Steel type. Protect or Wish will make sure she doesn’t die, and there you go, your Toxic Staller.

Go with the moveset you prefer, whether it’s the offensive one or my worst Pokémon nightmare, the Toxic Staller.

Oh boy, where do I begin... If you want to go Dual Screens go with Light Clay over Leftovers. Why are you running 126 SpAtk EVs on a Pokemon with no Special moves? you should invest more in sylveon's abysmal defense. Instead of 252 SpDef, use 126 SpD and 252 HP. On the offensive set, running Moonblast is an absolute waste of a moveslot because why have that when you have Pixilate hyper Voice. It's really, really useless on HA Sylveon

I've decided to talk about the Eeveelution I hate:
Sylveon @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Cute Charm
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpA
Relaxed Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Moonblast
- Wish
- Mystical Fire
- Calm Mind

With a low speed of 60, this Pokemon is perfect to be in a Trick Room team, this set should be used in singles, Moonblast can quickly cover threats most threats, which is helpful. Wish quickly heals up Sylveon and if Sylveon faints, the next Pokemon can be healed up, Mystical Fire is for coverage, setting up Calm Mind makes Sylveon even more of a threat.
Recommended teammates:
Hippowdon-For coverage against fire types, it also sets up a Sandstorm, also having low speed, another perfect trick room Pokemon
Hatterene-The trick room setter, a Focus Sash might be needed to assure you can pull of the trick room, another awfully slow Pokemon

I've hoped I've helped!

Eevee @ Eevium Z
Ability: Anticipation
EVs: 252 HP / 200 Def / 56 SpD
Impish Nature
- Last Resort
- Double Team
- Substitute
- Baton Pass

This set should only be used in AG, because baton pass is banned from Ubers (I think). Substitute first, then Evoboost, Baton Pass in the face of a taunter, or use Double Team and then Baton Pass. The ability Anticipation is to see if the enemy packs Fighting type moves.
