Why Rash Nature?
Why flamethrower it gets drain punch if you where worried about forretress and scizor kills slurpuff anyway with priority bullet punch no point in wasting the move slot

Slurpuff @ Weakness Policy
Ability: Unburden
EVs: 252 SAtk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd
Modest Nature
- Calm Mind
- Dazzling Gleam
- Surf / Thunderbolt
- Flamethrower

Standard CM set. CM is there too boost and make sweeping w/ its mediocre stats easier. Dazzling Gleam is STAB. Surf gets great neutral coverage with Fairy, or Thunderbolt hits bulky waters hard. Flamethrower hits defensive Steels like Ferro and Skarm (If you didn't choose T-Bolt) and also hits Sciz on the switch in.

Dude, one word. Verlisifly. He proved that Slurpuff is THE BEST FAIRY TYPE(so far). Look him up on youtube.
Verbosity is an sucking idiot. I hate Verlisify and Pimpnite. They always make and suggests bad moveset. And they think they are the greatest competitive trainer. Actually they alwaysbattle against a noob
He claims that it's even better than Xerneas? That's a wild claim, but it's to be expected coming from from him. This thing struggles to get KOs on bulky pokemon even at +6 due to low attack stat.

Now that ORAS is out, and with it, new move tutor moves, Slurpuff will wreak havoc due to only one move it gets: Drain Punch.
Now it will no longer be walled by Steel- and Fire-types, unless they're the Honedge line or the Litwick line. Of course, Poison-types prove a massive problem, so it's a good idea to get rid of all the opposing Poison-types before bringing Slurpuff in to sweep.

Slurpuff @ Sitrus Berry
Ability: Unburden
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spe / 4 HP
Adamant Nature
-Substitute
-Belly Drum
-Play Rough
-Drain Punch

Slurpuff gets a lot of opportunities to set up Substitute, mainly on slow status users like Lampent or Gourgeist. It can then proceed to Belly Drum and wreck teams.

I love Slurpuff. My second favorite Pokemon ever. I have two of them, but I will post my physical sweeper.

Cotton Candy Physical Knight (Slurpuff) @ Sitrus Berry
Ability: Unburden
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Hasty Nature
- Wish
- Belly Drum
- Play Rough
- Hidden Power [Ground]

This set works greatly. First thing you want to do is use Wish before anything. On the next turn, use Belly Drum. The Sitrus Berry will restore a bit of your health, while Wish will heal the rest. With the berry gone, your speed will double thanks to its ability. With maximized attack, sweep with Play Rough. If you come across a Poison, Steel, or Fire type, which, correct me if I'm wrong, are the only types to resist Fairy type moves. Crush them with Hidden Power Ground. Hidden Power also helps if you happen to come across a physical wall.
Hope this helped!

The best moveset for Slurpuff!!
But what EVs do you have on it?
252 Attack, 252 speed, and 4 hp.
what nature should go on it?
I usually prefer return for its accuracy and use play rough only when it is super effective or I need a little more power

Slurpuff @ Ganlon Berry
Ability: Unburden
EVs: 78 Def / 158 Atk / 120 SpD / 152 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Belly Drum
- Play Rough
- Drain Punch
- Substitute

Swap Slurpuff in if they will use a move that does less than a quarter to it and make sure that they will switch. Make the sub on the switch and then Belly Drum. Your Ganlon Berry will be eaten, raising Defense, plus your Defense and Special Defense EVs will make you really bulky. The sub allows you to survive while you now have super high speed because of Unburden. Now you can use drain punch to get all your health back and STAB Play Rough OHKOs a ton of Pokemon with the +6 Attack.

Slurpuff @ Sitrus Berry
Ability: Unburden
EVs: 252 Atk / 236 Spe / 20 HP
Adamant Nature
- Play Rough
- Drain Punch
- Thief / Facade / Sticky Web / Yawn
- Belly Drum

A slightly different take on Physical Slurpuff. Play Rough is STAB, Drain Punch covers Steel types and heals, Thief to steal something like a Choice Band, Leftovers, or Life Orb after you've used up your Sitrus Berry, Facade is very spammable in case you are burned, paralyzed, or poisoned, which are the 3 best ways to stop Belly Drum Slurpuff. Sticky Web for some team support while Yawn for more team support and to force a switch. Belly Drum quadruples Slurpuff's attack stat and activates Sitrus Berry, which in turn activates Unburden and doubles its speed.

Slurpuff @ Weakness Policy / Petaya Berry
Ability: Unburden
EVs: 252 SpA / 220 Spe / 36 HP
Modest Nature
- Calm Mind
- Flamethrower
- Dazzling Gleam
- Surf / Thunder / Thunderbolt / Psychic / Substitute

Calm Mind is your set-up move. Flamethrower is coverage for Steel types. Dazzling Gleam is STAB. Surf for Fire types, which resist Dazzling Gleam and Flamethrower. Thunder for more damage against bulky waters and a high paralysis chance, Thunderbolt for less power and para chance but more accuracy than Thunder. Psychic covers Poison types. Substitute to set up Calm Mind easier, and to avoid status. It should be noted that Sub should only be run on Petaya sets, as Sub will weaken you and make Weakness policy virtually useless. Also, Petaya benefits from Substitute because it's a pinch berry.

I think there is a move that Slurpuff learn and everyone didn't notice it. If you are running a SpA Slurpuff the moveset for me is:
Ability: Sweet Veil or Unburden
Item: Weakness Policy
Nature: Timid/Modest
EV: Max HP and SpA
- Calm Mind
- Flamethrower (Coverage)
- Psychic (Coverage)
- Draining Kiss / Dazzling Gleam

by
You could do Leftovers and Energy Ball/Thunderbolt/Surf instead of calm mind for coverage.
And I am pretty sure dazzling gleam is always better

Cotton Candy of...FEAR?
Gen 8

Swirlix @ Focus Sash
Ability: Unburden
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Sticky Web
- Endeavor
- Magic Coat
- Misty Explosion

Once upon a time, there was this magical cotton candy. It always insisted on being used as a lead so it can advertise it's delicious cotton candy. It uses Sticky Web to throw some it's cotton candy at the opposing team's side, getting grounded Pokémon that are not wearing Heavy Duty Boots stuck, lowering their speed upon switching in. Endeavor is to force the opposing Pokémon to eat its cotton candy, and can make a Pokemon eat lots of cotton candy when it's bought down to its Sash. Magic Coat is to bounce back things like Stealth Rock- trying to be thrown the cotton candy, or try to poison it with Toxic. When bought down to its Sash, you can use Misty Explosion to throw cotton candy at the opposing Pokémon, and if you used Endeavor before use used Misty Explosion, as long as the Pokemon doesn't switch, you could make a Pokemon faint from cotton candy overload.

Gen 8 AG
Slurpuff
Slurpuff @ Focus Sash
Ability: Unburden
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Hasty Nature
IVs: 0 HP / 0 Def / 0 SpD
- Sticky Web
- Yawn
- Endeavor
- Magic Coat
Sticky webs lead. Magic Coat reflects status, including Taunt. Sticky Webs are self explanatory. With the sash consumed you get doubled speed, allowing you to use Yawn or Endeavor, both of which can cripple the opponent.

Dat cotton candy doggo is annoying as heck.
wait it’s a do-um sure yeah I knew that

Slurpuff
Slurpuff @ Focus Sash
Ability: Unburden
EVs: 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Naive Nature
IVs: 0 HP / 0 Atk / 0 Def / 0 SpD
- Sticky Web
- Yawn
- Magic Coat
- Misty Explosion

This is a lead Slurpuff set, the first turn using sticky web for set up (unless the enemy Pokemon is something like Xerneas or any other Pokemon that will set up the first turn, then you want to use yawn, and then sticky web) once you get hit you will lose focus sash, thats why this slurpuff has 0 Ivs in Hp, def, and SpD. Then use Misty Explosion so you get some damage and a free switch to any of your Pokemons. Magic coat is for bouncing back moves like stealth rock. This Slurpuff fits better in offensive teams.

It's funny how Slurpuff has more of a niche in gen 8 ubers than Gensect, Cinderace and the Three Kyurem formes.

Really not sure what this guy is supposed to be.
A dessert-puff-thingy with all-round stats all around base 80. So like Phione? :D?

Slurpuff @ Leftovers
Ability: Sweet Veil
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Bold Nature
- Wish
- Protect
- Toxic
- Aromatherapy / Draining Kiss

Bleh normal bulky kind of set with a Pokemon who has bad stats. Wish/Protect for recovery and if necessary team healing, though meh HP, Toxic is to deal meaningful damage and Aromatherapy to screw status or Draining Kiss to prevent taunt fodder. Sweet Veil protects the team from sleep, and the EVs are to give Slurpuff some chance of surviving a physical attack. At least it checks fighting types and stuff. :D!

Desserts try rebel
Slurpuff @ Lum Berry / Luminous Moss / Weakness Policy /any item that can be consumed and be helpful to Slurpuff :D
Trait: Unburden
EVs: 252 HP / 180 Def / 72 S. Def / 4 Spe
- Cotton Guard / Aromatherapy
- Calm Mind
- Wish
- Draining Kiss / Dazzling Gleam
Ehh. Anyway, gimmick sweeper that could work I suppose. Using a consumable item, not sure (If you want to follow what people say on youtube, run Luminous Moss and pair it with Greninja in doubles apparently) what, but once it's consumed Slurpuff gets the unburden boost, and with 4 Spe EVs gets a 362 speed, outspeeding base 115s for no reason in particular by 1 point. Full EVs are dumped onto HP to maximise bulk and the rest are carelessly thrown between Def and SDef. Cotton Guard increases defense, while Aromatherapy functions as a status remover, which is the best thing to take down Slurpuff especially if it's set up really. Calm Mind is to boost special defense, while Wish heals and Draining Kiss is the attack move, which also heals. Or Dazzling Gleam for stronger STAB.

Slurpuff (F) @ Sitrus Berry
Ability: Unburden
Evs: 252 Atk, 6 Sp.Def, 252 Spd
Nature: Jolly (+Spd,-Sp.Atk)
- Belly Drum
- Play Rough
- Return
- Thief

Belly Drum + Sitrus Berry + Unburden combo is self explanatory. Play Rough is STAB, Return hits Poison-types neutrally, and Thief hits Steel-types and can give you a new item like Leftovers or even a new item to activate Unburden and get another Speed boost.

by
edited by
That's not how Unburden works. After your Pokémon's held item is lost, your Pokémon's Speed is doubled. If it gets a new held item, for example, after using Thief, the double in Speed is lost.

Slurpuff (F) @ Expert Belt/Choice Specs
Ability: Sweet Veil
Evs: 252 HP, 252 Sp.Atk, 6 Sp.Def
Nature: Modest (+Sp.Atk,-Atk)
- Dazzling Gleam
- Flamethrower
- Surf
- Thunderbolt

Dazzling Gleam is STAB that takes care of Dragons who resist your other moves. Flamethrower covers that Steel-type weakness, and can help against a Dry Skin Toxicroak. Surf & Thunderbolt provide good coverage with the other moves.

Slurpuff @ Choice Specs
Nature: Bashful (+ SpAtk - SpAtk)
EVs: SpAtk 252 / SpDef 252 / HP 4
Ability: Sweet Veil
- Thunderbolt
- Flamethrower
- Surf
- Dazzling Gleam
Role: Coverage/Revenge
Great lead in battle, as you can take your opponent by surprise and either do a lot of damage or even maybe ohko a Pokemon. You might want to save it for revenge kills, as it has so much coverage to finish off an opponent that took down your last Pokemon. It doesn't have great speed, so pairing it up with a Trick Room may come in handy.
