Does my Pokemon's affection towards me have any effect on multiplayer battles?

Question

For example my Greninja has maximum affection. If I use it in a GTS or any link battle really with a random passerby, will its love towards me help me in battle with critical hits, status heals, etc?
So far these effects only showed up to me in-game. I don't recall Serebii saying anything about this, but in case it did, my thousand apologies.

No Poke Amie stats only don't affect Wi-Fi battles. It only affects in game.
