Yep, it's exactly the same.

Say you use a Speed Bag S on a Pokemon. You gain +1 in the Speed cat., or one Speed EV.
This is the equivalent of gaining EVs from one Magikarp.

However, Super Training is much more efficient.

Say you use a Speed Bag L on a Pokemon. You gain +12 in the Speed cat., or twelve Speed EVs.
This is the equivalent of gaining EVs from twelve Magikarp.

Horde training is faster albeit being a bit difficult to keep count.. U can gain about 100 EVs per battle if u have pokerus and power item and If the horde pokemon yields 2EVs
okay so super training is a better form of ev training.

So is ev training unnecessary in Pokemon x and y ? And does pokerus effect super training the same way it effects ev training?
Pokerus doesn't affect super training
