Glaceon @ Bright Powder

Modest Nature
- Hail
- Blizzard
- Double Team
- Shadow Ball
Before you ask, no this can't be used in your Showdown team or other official competitive tourney, Double Team is banned and this build tells you why. Ask anyone why Glaceon is a good mon and they'll take 20 seconds before muttering "It has STAB Ice Beam" which is fair, for a mon with one of the best defense stats in it's diverse family, Glaceon sure likes to get KO'd to chip damage from time to time. So what's the solution? Don't get hit, silly! Start off with a Double Team so your held item won't leave you on your knees praying that Bright Powder is enough, because let me tell you it is not.
Next up is the main course, hail. A lot of it. You probably survived this far if you were cautious, since Glaceon is used to tanking a hit or two, but try not to get poisoned or something. Careful now as it's not going to be boosted by a rock, but 5 turns is all you need. Once you get the hail off you're in the clear unless you're unlucky or they came prepared, but I'll get to that worst case scenario later. Once you're safe in your winter wonderland of stormtrooper aim, you can start stacking Double Teams. If I see you go for the full 6 I will be mildly disappointed because you honestly only need 4, maybe 5 if you're feeling anxious, the bright powder will cover you when you don't get the full 6. Your Blizzard prob ran out now, or maybe even last turn, but this is really the only time when you're in real danger.
Once you notice that schools have re-opened due to the lack of hail and snow on the ground, change that ASAP. Chip weather damage is likely crushing the soul of the opposing trainer, but your soul is stone cold already so you really couldn't care less. After that you can start spamming Blizzard, and due to your STAB + 100 Accuracy in Hail, needless to say your opponent is really feeling that chip damage right now. If they throw out something that Blizzard can't help with, Shadow Ball is good coverage for that. End of story. Also, if you're gonna raise your hand and say "What if my opponent brings Magical Leaf or Swift? That will bypass the eva-" Shush. I didn't call on you. I did some research myself and there's a fair few attacking moves that don't miss, but none of them are really an issue unless it's Aura Sphere, which to make matters worse is used for great coverage. If it comes to that then you'll likely survive a hit, and I expect you to switch out. I don't care if they will predict it, you're not leaving that thing in against Aura Sphere! Shove in a ghost type or something. If it's any other move that can't miss just look at how threatening it is, and if it's a problem then switch, you're not beating that. If it isn't though, just stop Double Teaming for a sec and Blizzard that thing, Glaceon's offensively capability in this case remains static the whole time, you are still dangerous. If the opponent is running a no-miss move on all their mons, then you can likely just sweep with someone else if they're going to waste that many move spaces for it. If it's just that one mon with Aerial Ace, Blizzard it and move on.
For those of you wondering "Who's this clown and why's he using a Glaceon?" then fair enough, but I can say I've constructed and used this build in both AG environments in showdown, and in the gen 6 core games. I have a friend who tests these strats out with me, and to give you an idea on how this one went with him, next time we met I was slapped. Hard. This works, but you only want to use it where it's, you know, not banned. Your local unsuspecting tournament hosted by people you know, or against Cynthia because you're just done with her shenanigans at this point. It's a good fun build for horrible people, and I do not regret having one of these in my pc. I love making strats for the Eeveelutions, so expect something less nausea-inducing but still mildly humerus on Glaceon's many family members.
