Golbat @ Eviolite
Ability: Inner Focus
EVs: 6 HP / 252 Def / 252 SpD
Bold Nature
- Roost
- Toxic
- Heat Wave
- Haze

Roost is for healing. Toxic is for stalling. Heat Wave gets rid of Steel types. Haze gets rid of annoying stat boosting Pokemon. This guy is surprisingly bulky.

If you hate stall, you'll love these two sets (UU):

Nasty Plot Crobat

Crobatman (Crobat) (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Infiltrator
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Nasty Plot
- Air Slash
- Giga Drain
- Heat Wave

Crobat's immunity to Toxic, and access to Nasty Plot and Giga Drain make it very threatening against stall teams. Crobat's base special attack stat is only 70, but it hits hard after a few Nasty Plot boosts, especially when you add Life Orb. It will be easy to setup on passive Pokémon, as they can't badly poison it. Air Slash is for STAB, and is a good way to inflict hax on your opponent (or not). Giga Drain counters Unaware walls like Quagsire and Pyukumku, and is useful for restoring HP, especially against Blissey, which is a huge annoyance to this Crobat. Because of Blissey's massive HP stat, a Life Orb +6 Giga Drain will restore 35 - 41.3% of its maximum HP, which is more damage than Seismic Toss. Heat Wave hits steel types like Registeel, Scizor, and Mega Aggron for super effective damage. Infiltrator allows Crobat to bypass Substitute.

Taunt/Roost + Offensive Pivot Crobat

Crobatgirl (Crobat) (F) @ Flyinium Z
Ability: Infiltrator
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Taunt
- Roost
- Brave Bird
- U-Turn

A less gimmicky set that can shut down stall teams due to the Taunt + Roost combo and Crobat's toxic immunity. Taunt cripples passive Pokémon that rely on status moves, such as Blissey, Suicune, etc. and makes them unable to recover. Roost restores 50% of Crobat's maximum HP, allowing it to recover from Stealth Rock damage, and switch into attacks more often. Brave Bird is for STAB and hits exceptionally hard when paired with Flyinium-Z. Sky Plate can be used if you already have a Z-move user. U-Turn allows Crobat to switch out while dealing damage, letting it act as an offensive pivot and gain momentum. Infiltrator allows Crobat to hit Substitute Suicune and Kyurem.

Watch out for Mega Aerodactyl, as it can be found on stall teams, and outspeeds and OHKOs Crobat. Also, you should probably use these sets in UU rather than OU (yk, Heatran).

Cool ideas. But you can't stop timer stallers :P.

Gen 8 RU

Crobat @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Infiltrator
EVs: 220 HP / 36 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Brave Bird
- Taunt
- Roost
- U-turn

Brave Bird is STAB (why the hell can it even learn this move, birds and bats are in completely different classes...). With Crobat's incredible Speed stat, Taunt is a must, blocking Stealth Rock, Trick, and Agility from Metagross, Parting Shot from Incineroar, Teleport, Recover, and Toxic from Porygon-2, and limiting Klefki to only one layer of Spikes. Roost is recovery and makes for a great pairing with Brave Bird. U-turn is for momentum and works very well with Crobat's extremely high Speed stat.

Crobat
Crobat @ Black Sludge
Ability: Infiltrator
252 HP / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- U-turn
- Taunt
- Brave Bird
- Cross Poison

This set is to prevent other stalls from the opponent and is also a great scout with U-turn. With his 130 base speed stat It's joint top fastest non legendary/mega Pokemon in the game. This set is walled by Steel and Rock types, however it is not supposed to be a stall or wall set, he's supposed to maybe take a hit and U-turn out or Taunt then U-turn to gain initiative. I've also found him to be a nice addition to the team purely for his speed towards the end of the battle so running dual STAB is nice although like I said a lot of Pokemon wall him.

A big note: never bring Crobat out if the opponent has a Klefki the priority Thunder-Wave almost renders Crobat useless. If you can predict the Klefki coming in you can go for the Taunt and then U-turn, the moves work excellent together. Now you have a free switch in.

Gen III

Crobat @ Choice Band / Leftovers
Ability: Inner Focus
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Sludge Bomb
- Shadow Ball
- Aerial Ace / Confuse Ray
- Steel Wing / Confuse Ray

Sludge Bomb and Shadow Ball are physical moves because it is in Gen III. Sludge Bomb and Aerial Ace are STAB, and Shadow Ball covers Psychic. Steel Wing covers Ice and Steel, there's not many options in Gen III. Confuse Ray is a good alternative. Choice Band should be the item if Confuse Ray is not used. Otherwise, Leftovers.

Crobat @ White Herb
Ability: Inner Focus
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Cross Poison
- Acrobatics
- Curse
- Leech Life / U-turn / Confuse Ray

Mine has Inner Focus rather than Infiltrator. But I find them both to good anyway.

I saw a similar Curse set on one of Pimpnite’s videos. Set up Curse to get +1 Atk and Def. The White Herb will eliminate the -1 Spe drop. Acrobatics will now have tons of power due to having no more item, STAB and +1 Atk from Curse. Cross Poison for STAB, high crit ratio and chance to poison. I picked Leech Life for health replenishment, and coverage for Psychic types. You could go U-turn for emergencies or Confuse Ray because... why not?

Crobat @ Life Orb
Ability: Inner focus
EVs: 252 Atk / 152 Def / 100 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Brave Bird
- U-turn
- Taunt
- Super Fang

  • Brave Bird: High Damage, STAB.
  • U-turn: For switching, obviously.
  • Taunt: For bulky walls that want to set up on you.
  • Super Fang: Also, for bulky walls, making life easier by halving their HP.

This Crobat's moveset doesn't cover weaknesses, instead it's meant to be a wall breaking support Pokemon. This is mostly for irritating walls that want to set up right in front of you. With its defense EVs and quite decent defenses, it can turn into a very irritating Pokemon.

BATMAN!!

Crobat @ Flying Gem
Ability: Inner Focus
EVs: 6 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Acrobatics
- U-turn
- Super Fang
- Steel Wing / Confuse Ray / Taunt

This is the Crobat set I use in OU quite frequently, he is extremely effective, I once even turned a 2-6 loss into a 6-5 win for me just with this guy! Acrobatics is EXTREMELY powerful STAB it makes Crobat the ultimate counter to Fighting and Grass combined with that 4x resistance, this guy even can take out Conkeldurr! U-turn is for escaping foes I cannot defeat with Crobat. Super Fang is great for breaking through bulky Pokemon. Steel Wing can be used for coverage and if you are fortunate Defense boost, while Confuse Ray is for status and is very useful in my experience, Taunt is if you want to destroy stallers and leads.

Good uses for Crobat:

  • Taunt lead: Makes them not able to set up with Taunt, then uses Super Fang on the bulky ones then U-turns out of there.
  • Sweeper: Takes out Volcarona and Fighting types with Acrobatics and breaks through Bulky Pokemon with Super Fang then switches out with U-turn.
  • Annoying wall destroyer: Uses Confuse Ray to make them well confused XD then uses Super-fang to take away half their health, then use U-turn.

This bat is awesome!

Taunt Lead set is great!
Umm, how is Acrobatics EXTREMELY powerful when it has base 55 power. I'd consider it extremely powerful if you weren't holding an item.
The Flying Gem is consumed before Acrobatics is used, which means it gets the 110 base power and the Flying Gem boost.
Well sorry. I'm sick, 'K. I got a sore throat, eye infection, fever. My brain's messed up.

Venoshock Sweeper Crobat

image

Crobat @ Leftovers
Ability: Inner Focus
EVs: 4 SpA / 252 SpD / 252 Spe
Calm Nature
- Toxic
- Venoshock
- Heat Wave
- Nasty Plot

If you're using a Klefki as your lead, this could be a good sweeper. So basically, Klefki will set up Light Screen, Set Up Spikes, and then switch to Crobat. Crobat, will use Toxic, and use Heat Wave if the foe is a steel type. Then Crobat will use Venoshock, and then, if the foe isn't that strong, you can set up a Nasty Plot. You can also change Nasty Plot to HP Ground in case a Heatran shows up. So, after that, Poison then Shock. He will be incredibly strong with this set. Venoshock, Multiplied, will have 125 base power with Toxic, and have 185 base power with stab, after a Nasty Plot, will have an enormous 370 base power. 2 Nasty Plots = 555
Base Power 3 Nasty Plots = A Scary 740 Base Power. If it were super effective, like against Breloom, it would have 1,480 Base Power 4x, against a Whimsicott, Venoshock would have 2,960 Base Power! This is really a scary set. If you can use it.

TOXIC SET

Crobat @ Black Sludge
Ability: Inner Focus
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Def / 252 SpD
Modest Nature
- Venoshock
- Roost
- Double Team
- Toxic

Venoshock: Type: Poison / Power: 65 / Accuracy: 100

Roost: Type: Flying

Double Team: Type: Normal

Toxic: Type: Poison

Use Toxic to badly poison your opponent, then use Double Team over and over again (4-6 times) to sit back and let your opponent suffer from poison damage. Once you've used Double Team as much as much as you'd like, use Roost to heal if you need to. Then use Venoshock to finish of the opponent with a whopping 130 power.
__
ATTACKER SET

Crobat
Ability: Inner Focus
EVs: 126 HP / 252 Atk / 126 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Cross Posion
- Acrobatics
- Confuse Ray
- U-turn

Cross Poison: (Type: Poison / Power: 70 / Accuracy: 100) STAB, decent power, and high crit ratio.

Acrobatics: (Type: Flying / Power: 55 / Accuracy: 100) Massive damage since Crobat isn't holding anything, plus STAB.

Confuse Ray: (Type: Ghost / Accuracy: 100) Can come in handy sometimes.

U-Turn: (Type: Bug / Power: 70 / Accuracy: 100) Decent power, Hit and run. Also deals with Psychic types.

Crobat @ Life Orb (or nothing)
Ability: Infiltrator
EVs: 98 HP / 252 Atk / 154 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Acrobatics / Brave bird
- Roost
- Giga Drain / Venom Drench
- Cross Poison / Poison fang

Acrobatics does 165 damage when including STAB, which is just as powerful as a non-STAB giga impact! Roost is reliable recovery. Giga drain is extra coverage, along with gaining some HP back while Cross Poison has an increased crit. ratio and has STAB. An alternative is Poison Fang, which has a chance to badly poison the target while venom drench compliments that. Brave Bird is raw damage.

The Nature and EVs maximizes Attack power, while a bit of speed investment allows more outspeeds, and no items is with acrobatics so it does 165. Life Orb is for increased power. Inner focus stops Fake Out and Infiltrator negates Substitutes and screens.

Hoped this helped :)

Crobat @ Flying Gem
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Confuse Ray
- Acrobatics
- Poison Fang
- Bite

Strategy: Sweep all Pokemon with weaker defenses with Acrobatics. For tankers, use Confuse Ray and then Poison Fang. Bite is for type coverage and also for dealing with pesky Gengars.

Crobat (M) @ Flying Gem
Ability: Infiltrator / Inner Focus
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpA / 252 Spe
Adamant / Jolly Nature
- U-turn
- Taunt
- Acrobatics
- Cross Poison

U-Turn: This makes Crobat an excellent lead and is a great user of the move because of how fast it is. It's basically its Emergency Exit if needed.
Taunt: This instantly shuts down any staller, and it complements Crobat's speed oh-so-nicely.
Acrobatics: With the flying gem and STAB together buffing this move to be 247.5 power, do you need any further explanation on why this is a fantastic move on Crobat?
Cross Poison: A great move for Crobat, with STAB and high crit ratio.

Crobat
Ability: Infiltrator
EVs: 252 Atk / 6 SpA / 252 Spe
Naive / Hasty Nature
- Acrobatics
- Cross Poison
- U-turn
- Heat Wave

Having no item makes it so that Acrobatics will do 110 damage, which is massive. Cross poison is there for STAB, and U-turn is there for getting out of sticky situations. Most Steel-types out on the competitive field are mostly 4x weak to fire that's why Heat Wave can seriously come in clutch.

Crobat @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Infiltrator
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Brave Bird / Super Fang
- Defog
- Roost
- U-turn

Brave Bird is STAB. You could run Super Fang instead to halve bulky Pokémon's HP. Defog clears entry hazards on your side. Roost is for healing. U-Turn is for pivoting.

Gen 7 NU, Gen 8 NFE

Golbat @ Eviolite
Ability: Infiltrator
EVs: 252 HP / 72 Def / 72 SpD / 112 Spe
Jolly / Bold Nature
- Roost
- Defog
- Super Fang / U-turn
- Toxic

Roost is recovery. Defog removes entry hazards. Super Fang cuts HP, U-turn is for momentum. Toxic to wear down the opposition. Because Golbat has Infiltrator, it can bypass an enemy's Substitute to use U-turn, Super Fang, or Toxic.

Crobat is one of my all-time favorites. I love this set on him.

Crobat @ Choice Band
Ability: Infiltrator
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Brave Bird
- U-turn
- Cross Poison
- Crunch
Cross Poison and Brave Bird are the best STAB moves it gets. Crunch is good for Psychic types. U-turn is for a reliable pivot.
