Where can I catch Growlithe in Pokemon Emerald?

I want an Arcanine really badly, so I need Growlithe.

You can't

In Pokémon Emerald Growlithe can only be obtained through trade with Leaf Green or Fire Red.

A feasible and obtainable fire-type alternative to Growlithe would be Torkoal or Numel.

Thanks :D I didn't think you could get Growlithe at first, but then I read somewhere that you could. I wasn't sure so I wanted to check.
