I have been planning out a team for use in ORAS WiFi Singles, and had finally glued the team together. I posted an RMT on it, and one of the suggestions was to remove Breloom and add Garchomp. I particularly this Garchomp to be bulky, have the ability to set up, and break things. He also needs to be a reliable switch-in to Talonflame. Please remember that Egg Moves will be difficult to get, so try to eliminate those unless absolutely necessary. I can DexNav chain for Rough Skin. You can view the rest of the team here, and just ignore Breloom.

TankChomp epicness! :D

Garchomp @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Rough Skin
Impish Nature
EVs: 232 HP / 24 Atk / 252 Def
-Swords Dance
-Stone Edge
-Earthquake
-Dragon Claw

24 Atk Garchomp Stone Edge vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Talonflame: 484-572 (162.9 - 192.5%) -- guaranteed OHKO

252+ Atk Choice Band Talonflame Brave Bird vs. 232 HP / 252+ Def Garchomp: 175-207 (42.1 - 49.8%) -- guaranteed 3HKO

+2 252 Atk Sharp Beak Talonflame Brave Bird vs. 232 HP / 252+ Def Garchomp: 255-301 (61.4 - 72.5%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

This Garchomp can tank Brave Birds like a boss while setting up. No one in their right mind keeps Talonflame in on non-scarf Garchomp (and even then Garchomp has to be scarfed into Earthquake) and so it can set up easily and punch holes in the opposing team.

Oh, and keep in mind that these calcs are for base form Garchomp. Mega Garchomp tanks even better.

You didn't look at the team, did you? I already have a Mega :P

Still, you're answer's good, I love how you added calcs! I would do that more, but for some reason Showdown's Battle Calculator crashes my web browser XD
I looked at it after making the set, lol
And thanks :D
Good answer, but this is really only a dedicated lure, it's only good for taking out frail sweepers it struggled with before. It can no longer sweep or wallbreak, just lure out,
That is true, but the question only stated that he needed to be a reliable switch-in to Talonflame, needs to have bulk, and have the ability to set up. My personal Garchomp would be an all out sweeper, but I was just answering the question.

Garchomp @ Leftovers/Yache Berry
Impish Nature
EVs: 252 HP, 128 D, 128 SpD
Ability: Rough Skin
- Toxic/Substitute/Iron Head
- Earthquake
- Roar/Dragon Tail/Stealth Rock
- Stealth Rock/Stone Edge
So, this is a good bulky wall breaker set. You have some choices to make though. Side note: Garchomp doesn't have any good set up moves... So this gives you options on wheter to have an attacker, annoyer, or bulky wall breaker.
Thanks!- TBE

What do you mean, Garchomp doesn't get any good setup moves? It gets Swords Dance, which is great considering how many Pokés switch out of Garchomp, giving it plenty of setup opportunities. Also, Toxic on Garchomp? It can hardly stall anything due to lack of reliable recovery (Knock Off is everywhere O_o)

EDIT: You didn't look at the team either, did you? Lefties is for Tangrowth.
I did, it's just leftovers are very important, and you can get as many leftovers as you want.
*slaps forehead* It specifically says in the question, "for use in ORAS WiFi Singles." For the love of Gastly, you cannot have duplicate items in WiFi battles.
