Paralyze glitch on electric type? Pokemon X?

Once I was battling a wild Pikachu, so I sent out my minun that I was training. Minun used something like tackle, or some other physical move, then Pikachu's static made my minun paralyzed! Is this a glitch(on Pokemon x)?

Electric types an still be paralyzed, just not via the move Thunder Wave. They are not immune to paralysis in general, just immune to Thunder wave. The same applies to ground types, which are immune to Thunder Wave but not to Glare or abilities like Static.

That is not a glitch, Electric-types can be paralyzed by Static.
