Quick LC mention for Yungoos: It's great ability and coverage don't quite make up for it's lack of finishing power, staying power, speed or anything noteworthy above other, better normal types. Aipom, Dodrio, Munchlax, Meowth all deserve a mention above Yungoos.

Gumshoos is the best Pokémon. Just the greatest. It's fantastic. It gets all the ladies. I have never met a better Pokémon, and believe me I've met a lot of Pokémon. I've met Pokémon you've never heard of that are better than the ones you have heard of.

Mr. Bigly prefers to hold a Focus Sash or a Life Orb. You see, Mr. Bigly is fantastic and all, but he's really not that strong, he has really thin skin, so he doesn't take attacks very well. So, it's best if he holds an item that lets him take advantage of his time on the stage and do as much damage as possible. Life Orb makes his attacks stronger but also a bit self-destructive, but as long as you're winning who cares. Mr. Bigly is so low-energy, it's sad, so a Focus Sash can let him survive an attack from a stronger opponent and strike back with a vengeance.

Mr. Bigly's EV spread is simple. Maximum HP because he is the healthiest Pokémon in all the history of Pokémon. Maximum Attack because he is very fit. The last little bit is in Speed so that he can always be faster than other Mr. Biglys. An Adamant nature means he will never back down, ever. Ever.

Mr. Bigly's Adaptability lets him deal with any possible situation. It's a great ability. It makes his Frustration even stronger than it is, and believe me, it's already the strongest. If you wanted to use Hyper Fang instead, Mr. Bigly also has a Strong Jaw that will utterly decimate and humiliate his opponents.

Frustration and Hyper Fang are your best attacks. Combined with either Adaptability or Strong Jaw, they will be hitting for bigly damage. For Pokémon who refuse to bow to your Frustration, Crunch will teach them a lesson. If you find yourself in a situation where Mr. Bigly is fighting a much bulkier opponent, Super Fang lets you knock off a yuge chunk of their HP. And lastly, Earthquake lets you shake up the establishment. Or, U-Turn lets you pass off to another Pokémon more qualified for the matchup.

If you use Gumshoos, you will win. You will win bigly. You will win so bigly that you'll get sick of winning. Gumshoos is the greatest Pokémon. Gumshoos is going to make UU great again.

Explanation: Yes, this is a Protect-Last Resort gimmick set. This is only meant to be used with Trick Room support. Life Orb is the preferred item to power up Last Resort. Adaptability raises that 1.5x STAB to 2x STAB. Protect is used to Evade attacks and then hit Them Hard with Life Orb-Adaptability powered up Last Resort. Here's a Good Trick Room supporter for Gumshoos:

If you are going for a Trick Room set you should put 0 spe IVs on Gumshoos. I prefer Cresselia for that awesome bulk and ability to set up trick room since Pokebank is out now. Oranguru is not really that good.
I'll put that in but I'd use Oranguru because of Instruct but you are Right, Cresselia is Another Option, thanks for pointing that out.

"Rule 1: No Fluids" the Gumshoos

Gumshoos @ Red Card
Ability: Stakeout
Adamant Nature
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD
- Return (STAB)
- Revenge (Coverage)
- Payback (Coverage)
- Yawn (Forces switching)

This set benefits greatly from the Red Card, which forces a foe that attacks the user to be switched out with a random ally (the only way this set could get any better is if Gumshoos could use Recycle to reuse its Red Card!).
The power of Payback and Revenge are doubled if moving last/user has taken damage in the turn, working best on a Pokemon switched in by the Red Card. Return is STAB that would hit SO hard if it were to land on a switched-in foe. Yawn forces switches, which Gumshoos can take advantage with Stakeout the turn that the foe switches out.

Gumshoos @ Silk Scarf
Ability: Adaptability
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD
Brave Nature
- Facade
- U-turn
- Revenge
- Payback

Facade is STAB. Silk Scarf Adaptability makes it great, especially with paralysis/poison. U turn for scouting. Revenge and Payback are great for this low Speed. Brave nature also helps.

Gumshoos @ Leftovers / Chesto Berry
Ability: Stong Jaw
Nature: Adamant / Impish / Careful / Jolly
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 70 Spe
- Crunch
- Hyper Fang
- Bide / whatever you want
- Rest

Rest can be very annoying, especially with a Chesto Berry (the idea came from Juan's Kingdra from Emerald). Bide is still powerful on its own way, that's why you need a lot of HP. Strong Jaw powers up both Crunch and Hyper Fang, and I didn't mention their secondary effects, Crunch's Defense lowering and Hyper Fang's flinch.

Your EV total cannot exceed 510. Also, Bide is a terrible Move no matter what you do.
"Bide is a terrible move no matter what you do"? Ok, it's pretty bad, but to effectively say it shouldn't exist is pushing it.

NOTE: It's my first handmade moveset, so don't blame me if I did something wrong.

Detective (Gumshoos) @ Life Orb
Ability: Adaptability
Jolly Nature
252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
- Hyper Fang
- Super Fang
- Stomping Tantrum / Earthquake
- Crunch

Hyper Fang may flinch, and it's STAB, + Adaptability = pretty strong normal move.
Super Fang is usually useful when the target has full HP.
Stomping Tantrum if you do not have Earthquake, + the power doubles if the previously used move have failed.
(Better use Earthquake if you can because it's stronger than Tantrum.)
Crunch is coverage, plus it may lower the Defense stat of opponent's Pokemon, so it is pretty useful.

Ability: Stakeout / Adaptability (Stakeout for Pursuit)
EVs: 24 HP / 252 Atk / 132 Def / 100 SpD
Nature: Impish

Pursuit / Crunch: Coverage, + IMMENSE power if your foe is switching out. If Adaptability, choose Crunch.
Earthquake: Why do you think?
Fire Fang / Ice Fang / Thunder Fang: They all flinch, you decide.
Revenge: Due to base Spe being 45, Usually activates secondary effect.

(Mostly just a physical tank. I put high Def because an opponent will most likely use a Physical Fighting type move similar to Drain Punch against this guy, and most Fighting type moves are physical. As for moves like Focus Blast & Aura Sphere, that's what the Assault Vest is for. I used Stakeout to my advantage, but if you prefer Adaptability, I made Crunch an option. Feedback is appreciated.)
