Shiinotic @ Leftovers
Ability: Rain Dish/Effect Spore
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
IV: 0 Atk
- Strength Sap
- Spore
- Leech Seed
- Moonblast / Giga Drain

With 6 resistances and an immunity to Dragon, Shiinotic would have been a decent wall, except for its rather underwhelming bulk. However, it still has a solid niche due to having access to Spore and Strength Sap. Strength Sap is a recovery move that heals the user's HP by an amount equal to the opponent's Attack stat, and it also lowers it by one stage. Mega Gyarados can only rely on Ice Fang to hit this thing, but Shiinotic will be able to easily heal off the damage due to Gyarados' high Attack while crippling it at the same time. Spore is a 100% accuracy move that induces sleep, and Leech Seed gives recovery outside of Strength Sap and Leftovers. Moonblast is for STAB to hit Grass types that come in to block Leech Seed and Spore.

Shiinotic @ Big Root
Ability: Effect Spore
EVs: 170 SpA / 170 SpD / 170 Def
Nature: Modest / Timid
- Spore
- Dream Eater
- Giga Drain
- Hidden Power [Rock]

Spore: A good move all round as it puts the enemy to sleep and has 100% accuracy.

Dream Eater: Deals with Shiinotic's 4x weakness to Poison types and has good base power, complimenting Shiinotic's high Special Attack. Plus! The HP recovery is boosted by Big Root.

Giga Drain: STAB boosted, HP recovery boosted by Big Root.

Hidden Power [Rock]: Hits Reasonably hard with Shiinotic's base Special Attack. And it deals with all but 1 (Steel) of Shiinotic's remaining weaknesses.

This is a more offensive set I created, it works rather well every time I've used it and can deal with pretty much everything thrown at it

100 percent accurate moves always hit unless the Pokemon has their accuracy lowered

Shiinotic @ Big Root
Ability: Effect Spore
EVs: 252 SpD / 252 SpA / 4 HP
Modest Nature
- Spore
- Dream Eater
- Giga Drain
- Strength Sap / Light Screen

Spore puts the opponent to sleep with 100 accuracy. Dream Eater basically sucks the life out of the opponent and you heal HP back. Giga Drain lets you heal HP back with Big Root gains. Strength Sap is an option, which halves the opponent's Attack and heals HP, or Light Screen to boost your Special Defense.

why would you want light screen by itself
Big root. Big ******* root. Spore is fine. Strength Sap is fone. Giga drain is fine. Putting EV's into special Defense instead of HP, running big root and having light screen are not.
