My Marowak will have Shadow Bone, Bonemerang, Rage and Flareblitz with Rock Head.
And I would like to see if it's a viable strategy to have a skill link Pokemon attack him after he's used rage.(because you'll be +6 or close to that in one move much like the beat up strats)
Due to his poor speed and the few Pokemon that get a combination of multi strike moves, trick room and skill link that might be slower than Marowak, I'm kinda at a loss and don't really know what Pokemon would be good for the strategy.
(so far I could could only come up with gourgeist and toucannon)
If you know some other good/common rage Pokemon combo's I'd like to hear about those too.

I'm pretty sure this strategy is no good. You could have Marowak use swords dance, and it'll already be strong enough to OHKO most things. These statistics suggest that none of the experts use rage.

I agree, SD Marowak w/ Thick Club doesn't need the extra Rage boost. If you're still really interested in trying that trick out, then that's different.
Rage is honestly terrible

The best way to use that strategy is to use a pokèmon that have an ability that do the same thing, we all now what terrakion and whimsicott do. Using rage you waste a turn and deal damage to marowak, it's better using a redirect Pokemon such as clefairy and give marowak sword dance like others have said. In short try something like:
Marowak-Alola @ Thick Club
Ability: Rock Head
Level: 50
EVs: 252 HP / 180 Atk / 76 SpD
Brave Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- Flare Blitz
- Shadow Bone
- Swords Dance
- Protect
protect because I think you want to play on doubles and protect on marowak is necessary.
