PokéBase - Pokémon Q&A

In case you don't know, the natures of wild Pokemon in the Safari Zone can be influenced by placing Pokeblocks in Pokeblock feeders. I want timid Pokemon, so I made Pokeblocks with bluk berries (sweet and dry), put them in a Pokeblock feeder, and spammed sweet scent right next to the feeder. The resulting Pokemon seemed to have mostly special attack raising natures, instead of the speed raising nature that I wanted. Are there berries that let me more easily find timid Pokemon? Which are they?

Edit: I found a timid Pokemon using a Pokeblock made from a pecha berry, but it took more than a dozen tries. I still want to know if there are better berries for finding timid Pokemon.

Timid pokemon like the Sweet flavor berry, does this have something to do with the answer you want?

I know that bluk berries are sweet, and they aren't good for finding timid Pokemon, so my questions asks if there are better sweet berries.

Pokémon encountered within 5 steps of the feeder will have a nature that corresponds to the Pokémon's flavor preference. Since you want Timid Pokémon, the flavor you should mix is sweet. What I'm assuming you did is mix multiple Bluk Berries since they encourage sweet flavors and discourage spicy flavors (like Timid Pokémon). However, if you mix multiple of the same berry, then the Pokéblock will be assigned 3 random flavors. You need to mix different berries that all correspond to the sweet flavor. These berries are Pecha, Mago, Bluk, Qualot, Grepa, Cornn, Magost, Pamtre, Watmel, Liechi, and Salac. Technically, you only need to make sure that the net preference for every flavor but sweet is either negative or 0, but using only sweet berries makes it simpler.

Note that using sweet Pokéblocks will cause the encountered Pokémon to have either Timid, Hasty, Jolly, Naive, or Serious nature. It will not narrow down the Natures to only Timid. From what I read, I don't know if there is a way to discourage a certain Nature.
